Holy shit. Where do you live? I'm gonna be honest, girls who pick fights are fuckin weird.
I couldn't agree more...I saw a girl all in brawl once...it was fukng weird
I cant see DLH out-boxing Chavez for 12 rounds. I can see him winning early rounds, but Chavez wouldn't stop. He'd keep coming, and DLH would crack.
I'd rank Chavez higher then DLH fo sure
i agree wit prolly all ur list, but I'd have diego corrales a little further down the list, maybe in the 8th spot. I dunno if its just me, but IMO he's too slow and doesnt jab enough when he walks in. And as a result, gets whacked alot while he's coming in. He also has limited head movement.
"Stop making glen into something he isnt, Roy's speed is gone and so is his career and made glen look good"
You could have replaced the word "glen" with "tarver" and it would have been just as corect as you're original statement was.
A fight with Floyd would settle who really is the best. And if he wins, I would move him above Nard in P4P. I think tszyu will want to fight Floyd as there is big money in that and he never ducked any one in his career. ( no he really had injuries, he didn't just take a 22 month break.)
The only way I see Tszyu not fighting Floyd is if Floyd says no, or Tszyu's trainer convinces Tszyu to retire.
I also think that one of the most overrated was Rocky Marciano, maybe because he's undefeated. Don't think that he could win against the likes of Tyson, Lewis or Foreman.
Tyson and Marciano, that would probably be a war. Marciano and Foreman, I see Marciano getting dealt with like Frazier was. I just feel any brawler who gets hit when he comes in (Frazier, Marciano) would get killed by Foreman, simply because he punched harder and was bigger.
BUT MARCIANO LOSING TO LEWIS!! LEWIS IS SO FUKNG OVER-RATED, OR MAYBE IM JUST BLINDED BY MY HATE FOR THE GUY. BUT HIS CHIN WAS SUSPECT, AND HE WOULD GET KILLED IF HE FOUGHT MARICANO IN HIS PRIME.
Remember round one of Tyson verse Lewis. Where Tyson was constantly banging Lewis. I see Marciano doing that to Lewis all night. Too bad Tyson was outta his prime and didnt have the heart to fight on. Cause if Tyson did, I reckon he would have showed everyone just how over-rated Lewis is.
I reckon if Foreman ever fought Lewis, he'd kill Lewis. Cause IMO Lewis struggled wit Boxers as tall as him or near his height (VItali). And Foreman could punch harder then lewis.
IMO Duran was the greatest at 135. Not to say that, he would beat SRL everytime. Im another Duran fan so I'm going with Duran, but I can see SRL out-boxing Duran too.
Btw, those saying Duran completely pounded SRL in the first fight are WRONG. It was a war, and Duran walked away with a well-deserved UD, though it could have gone SRL way aswell.
Taylor is a very promising fighter no doubt. But is he ready for he executioner? I doubt it. Though we can't be sure, as we've never seen taylor fight a "real" middleweight as many have already stated. But you never know, Taylor might shine just liek Riddick Bowe did against The Real Deal.
Sonny Liston is an all time 20 heavy-weight no doubt, maybe even a top 15, but i dont see him higher then that.
he had one of the greatest jabs ever and incredible punching power, which is comparable with Big George. But he jus wasn't explosive enough. He didn't put enough pressure on his opponents, and make them fight his fight. To me, Mike Tyson, had that problem too. And that problem can be exposed, as Sonny Liston was in the first Clay fight, as Clay fought circles around Liston. If Ali ever fought a prime Tyson I think the same thing would have happened to Tyson. But quicker as Tyson would have got frustrated and given up, just as he did in the Lewis fight.
But Ali could never do this to another brawler in Joe frazier. And the reason is that Joe Frazier always kept comin in. Always putting pressure on his oppoenent. Never allowing his opponent a moments rest. And ultimately, not allowing Ali to dance circles around him, as Clay did to Liston.
Pacman knocks out Hamed early.
This is because Hamed is so open and normally gets away because the other guy is too slow. Pac man is not slow, and once he hits you with a one-two, he'll keep running after you till either you or him go down. Normally it's the other guy.
The other reason is Hameds chin is never down. He's head is moving everywhere and he takes it to eazy in the ring. NOT a good idea with Pacman.
P.S I'm not saying this because I love Pacman or nething. I actally think he is pretty one-dimesional with his one-two. But it's harder to stop then most people think. Just look at Smokin' Joe, he was a one-handed fighter who just kept pouring in and bobbing and weaving.
Hameds is 30 years of age. That is pretty old for a prize-fighter who's success is primarily based on speed and reflexes/ We're gonna see exactly what happened to RJJ happen to Hamed. Provided he fights an opponent of resonable quality.
My dad first told me about it when he said he used to box at little clubs and watch muhammad ali fights on tv all the time. So i started watching some ali figths and i loved him. That was untill i saw ali-frazier I. Since then, I've been a HUGE frazier fan, even though my dad doesnt like his style.
The Thrilla in Manilla when Frazier didn't answer the bell. That shyt crushed me.
Ima big Frazier fan, so his losses to Foreman were bad too, but not as bad as the Thirlla in Manilla.
Another loss is when Evander lost to Bowe in that great fight.
Umm....when Ali beats foreman in Rumble in the Jungle. I didn't feel like everyone else, who thought it was a fairy-tale.
Tyson to Douglas is another one, when mike tries to pick up his mouth-guard and continue, but cant.
And when Tyson lost to Lennox Lewis. Alotta people clown tyson when he says "I can't do it" to his trainer. But that shyt killed me, just like the thrilla in manilla. He was like my idol, I based my whole fighting style on him and frazier. And when mike quit like that......
"Ruiz fans may have some good reasons for liking his style but Ruiz is never going to be a superstar."
U gotta be some patient mofo to like Ruiz' style.
Exactly who came to mind right away was Prince Naseem! I never thought he was as good as advertised, definately overhyped and overrated!!!
Remember when Foreman said something like, he'd never seen antyhing as spectacular as Hamed. And Hamed remined him of a young Cassius Clay.
I almost fell off my fukng chair!
Why is Tarver that Good?
Tarver shouldnt get anymore credit out of beating jones then Johnson did. They both fought a washed up fighter, who is now only a shadow of his former self. I do see Tarver ruling the division fo a while, but to me, it's not because he beat RJJ...
Tyson is one of my favourite fighters along wit Smoking Joe. And thats why it hurts to say this, but Tyson would do little better then Smokin Joe did agenst foreman. Man i hate that guy!!
what ur saying needs to happen , but i doubt it will. If it does happen, I just hope Rahman walks away with the title and starts to focus on his career again.
