wasn't comparing Bowe to Ali... if you saw him at the Olympic games and during the whole Holyfield series, the announcers were making comparisons, due to his long arms, supposed wit, and fast hands. I never thought that Bowe was a hard enough worker to compare to Ali. He was lazy (my opinion) as a fighter and never showed us even close to his full potential, which is scary since he was heavyweight champion of the world and beat one of the most highly regarded heavyweights of the 90's. Wasn't trying to say that you were being unreasonable. I just wanted to point out that those three guys are also great fighters (though with flaws, as you pointed out). I still think Tyson would have run down the lot of them if he had had a better attitude and personal problems didn't do him in.

Jabs no disrpsect he did drop him but he didnt knock him out, going down under sustained pressure isnt really the same as getting ko'd is it. It was a TKO, On top of this the punishment Danny took from Tyson should dispel and qualms about his chin. To say he has a weak chin is ludicrous the evidence agianst this comments is there for all to see? Im not sure there were too many other heavies who would have stood up to that first round barrage against Iron mike do you, so are they all chinny then? I just dont agree that Danny is chinny, its one of his better qualities. I have not seen much of Williams, outside of some clips & the Tyson fight. He took some bombs from Tyson, which is VERY impressive. Thing is....Mike can't sustain an attack. Had he been able to, than we really would have seen what Williams was made of.

I hoping David Tua will come back and fight again at least it will give the heavyweight division some excitement... if tua worked hard enough lost weight gained speed and was in good conditioning i have no doubt in my mind that he could crown the division..

Most of the fighters you mentioned have their share of fans, and it would be insulting to say that these fighters were all lousy. However, it would simply be a lie to say that any of these men are particularly inspiring, especially in the one division that is supposed to consistently capture the attention of the general public. Ruiz fans may have some good reasons for liking his style but Ruiz is never going to be a superstar. So people care...but not people in general. My theory about why the heavies are like this right now is that right now we should still be in the Mike Tyson era. Superstar heavies like him come along only like once in a generation, and right now he should be on the tail end of a fantastic career. But after the loss to Douglas everything sputtered a bit. He came back rather impressively, but has never been the same since. I know people will argue for Lennox and Evander and Riddick, as well. Coz i know his chin is weak i seen his fight before he fight nobody only tyson that it. when he got hit and stunned he grab and hold the guy Vitali has taken punches from Sanders and Lennox Lewis and still KO Sanders and was winning on the cards

how do you know Danny has a weak chin? :eek: who told you danny williams has a weak chin? :eek: Sam never knocked him out, Tyson couldnt put him down so what on earth lead you to believe that a man who has never been ko'd in 35 fights has a weak chin? me thinks you read and take notice of too much press bullshit. ;)
