I think id have to go with Kostya Tzu. he totally surprised me with that fight against mitchell. So relaxed and determined it made me jealous!
Also i think trinidad deserves a mention here, he embarassed mayorga...
tszyu. barrera and trinidad seem to be the only fighters ppl are thinkin of
too bad there are some really good boxers out there who havent got a chance to be promoted by billionaires
Shane Mosely
wow
he first impressed me with the double back to back losses to forrest
i was sre that even he would learn his lesson
then he loses to winky
im think shane aint this dumb is he?
but yup he is
that was really impressive
Kostya really impressed me by looking better than ever after 2 years of not fighting.
Barrera because he proved he can come off of a devastating loss and still beat the best.
Corrales because he was able to turn it around this year and give great fights.......and win them.
Tito, not because he looked that great in his win against Mayo....he didn't, but because he makes things interesting in the middleweight division again. Hat off to him for coming back, but he has work to do, and I'll enjoy watching him do it.
Your're right on!
Terry
Tito probably impressed me the most. Up until the fight people were 50/50 on who would win. But the thing thats inpressive is not the win as much as the connect %. I mean didnt he land just about over 60% in every catagory?
maybe I'll get crap for saying this but Barerra and Juan Diaz probably. I'm really gettin into Diaz (or is it Dias?) not I think he's one helluva fighter and Barerra too
OMG let me guess this straight, none of the jewish boxers impressed you?
lol j/k

Chicco impressed me with his good performance vs. Casa and Freitas. Morales also for unifying the WBC and IBF superfeatherweight straps. Trinidad, Kostya and Barrera did well too. It's unfair not to mention them.
Easily...Diego Corrales.
Had a questionable year of return (after two years out) in 2003.
Beating easy guys, than getting battered in a war towards the end.
He regrouped in 2004. Fighting an intelligent fight against the guy he warred with....& then scoring a dramatic KO over a very difficult foe, in one of the year's best matchups.
:D couldnt have said it better.
