Both have huge for and against arguments but if I've gotta have my arm twisted then I'd have to say G.. without a K.O, G was never gunna get a decision and everyone knew it..
The judging was awful in both fights and the judges simply sign the card and move onto the next fight. These guys are just as criminal as a ped user with the scoring.... some of the scores we see makes you wonder if these guys have got their eyes painted on.. you can get 2 cards of similar marking for one guy and then the third has the other guy up by 4/5 rounds..
90% of everyone including experts agree that Canelo didn't win more than 4 rounds so it's not just a GGG fan opinion.
Consensus is that the fight was a robbery, so in turn it was.
I'm not a G or Nelo fan and I gave it G all the way..
We've seen crazy decisions across boxing history and this goes on the pile..
Just call it what it was, End of the day results are in and it's called a draw. Nelo fans admitting he pretty much got away with a result is no skin of anyone's nose.. in fact I'd probably have a good chuckle if a boxer I supported got away with a result like that and people are still banging on about it..
All 3 judges in both fights must not know boxing as well as these armchair warriors...I mean all the judges (besides Byrd) had it 115-113 or 114-114 yet these armchair thugs "know better".

The obvious step seems to be a rematch with Whyte, which frees up AJ to fight Fury post Pulev....as long as Fury and Wilder stop acting like nonces on social media and fight more than once in 18 months.
If Povetkin can win again, does he get a shot at AJ or Fury, probably about 42 years of age at that point? What a remarkable journey that would be.
You have to give the bloke credit.. he's only lost against Klitch and AJ. Yes the rest aren't Huge names but some are still deemed worthy of fighting for the top end of the table..

But as someone who likes the odd bet I'll watch his odds to beat Fury with interest.
