I still don't care for female boxing

Nothing sexist about not finding women's boxing appealing. Don't be so sensitive. Personally I don't care for it either. Not sensitive at all. If you don't like it, fine. Nobody cares about your preferences (not you personally, in general. You know I like Fury, but not to the extent that you do.) The point was not to bash them. We all like what we like. These women are trying their best despite what you and others prefer. They deserve respect for being warriors, and trying to make a living in boxing, without needing a male approval.

Yes, the talent pool is still quite small with the females, but it is expanding, and with the top woman getting a lot more exposure now, this will see more athletically gifted, talented and powerful young woman take up the sport. I was amazed to see one judge gave Katie Taylor all of the first five rounds vs Persoon, which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. Carl Frampton who is friends with Katie Taylor scored the fight 98-92 Persoon. I don't like it when people write off womens boxing and say it shouldn't be a thing. There's no reason at all for them not to box. And the top women generally do have boxing skills. I enjoyed the rematch the other weekend. Taylor showed good skills. I liked how calm she was in there and stood in the pocket with clean shots. Peerson showed great stamina and heart but she just threw all she could hoping something would stick. Hopefully it will bring sum more challengers up or down to challenge Katie. It would be great point where there’s lots of good fights to speculate about in woman’s boxing.

Are any of you cool guys gonna watch the Katie Taylor fight? You shouldn't. That's the only fight I will be there for, and if the undercard is good. Not watching the heavyweights most definitely. I despite that division like you guys do the women's boxing.

I just find it uncomfortable watching women fighting in combat sports anyone else feel the same?

fair enough, i dont either but its more annoying to me because im staying up till like 3/4 am to watch the main event and its getting delayed an hour because these women are going to a decision practically every single fight. I dont care what boxers have between their legs, if its high quality entertainment then fine, but its not, its extremely poor quality with extremely low skill sets with zero punching power. Yeah and it don't help the best female fighters in diffrent weight classes. If they was smart they learn takedown defense n go to UFC. Those boxing skills with defense for grappling n submissions is deadly. They guarantee to take over

I want equality for women anything men do so can women, be it cricket, triple jump, pole vault, or soccer, snooker or darts. I support women. But I don't know the names of any pro fighters apart from laila ali, Katie taylor. God's honest truth I can't think of any names and I've not seen any whole fights even by accident. But I will name some more names if i remember them in this thread, oh that British boxer with dazzling smile who won gold at olympics, just retired because of eye issues, names on tip of my tongue

Call me a chauvinist if you want but watching young women beat each other up is just totally unappealing to me. Even if you look at it as objectively as you can, good (relatively speaking) women's fights are still an inferior product to even mediocre men's fights most of the time. The standard has improved ever since they started having women's boxing at the olympics but it's got a hell of a long way to go.

Well i agree with what another guy said about putting women fights high on cards for no reason just to seem woke. But if its a big womens fight i dont see nothing wrong with being on the card. Why not create a card featuring only women boxers and then the people who enjoy watching it can knock themselves out. However we all know it won't happen because the ratings would be a complete disaster. The only reason promoters are putting woman boxing on major cards is to appear woke.
