The last time the Americans saw AJ, he was running back to the airport holding his head, with his tail tucked in between his legs.
AJ needs to return to America and attempt to regain some reputation, otherwise his career will forever be tainted.
Thoughts?
Probably not, but who could blame him?
Unless it was a big unification fight, I can't see him making the trip.
He will probably just stick to the UK, he has done well there and makes big cash.
As long as he fights Fury, I don't care where it is.
He definitely has to but it also depends if the right opponent is available. An American who can talk smack, Miller messed that one up and Wilder ducked that until both lost. So that fight has lost something.
I'm down for a beer or 10 after the fight. I'm sure some other users will be there too we can have a bscene meet up after the fight
Feel like I’m too old for you dudes but yeah I’m up to say hello haha
Why is bravery coming into it? If the money is right, he would I'm sure.
It's not like USA is some lions den with an intimidating atmosphere. America doesn't have such a culture in its sports.
That was the first UFC fight I attended, McGregor vs Khabib. Was absolutely mental and I really enjoyed it. I then went to Jon Jones vs Thiago Santos last July which wasn’t as good but the undercard has the fastest KO ever in there Masvidal vs Askren which was good.
Oh I will be at AJ-Fury. No doubts about that I will 100% be there. I’ll be ringside for that.

Yeah I'm not big UFC too but when they have a big fight i tune in. That khabib/McGregor fight was really entertaining especially the aftermath :lol1:
Me and my brother already agreed we will see fury/Joshua live no matter what. I'm just worried the tickets will sell out so fast we won't be able to get em. I think it was Joshua/klitschko that sold out within an hour I'm worried this fight will too

Up there certainly for shock factor.
I haven’t really travelled to America to watch many fights so in regards to American fights then they’re definitely up there. Only went to my first USA fight around 2010.
I started going to a few UFC fights too from 2018. Which is insane as I really did not like the sport at all until recent years. Still not a huge fan. But getting into it slowly but surely as a secondary sport I follow.

Out of the fights you've seen live, where do these two rank?

I think he would
But the second the fighter pulls out and they say AJ we have found a short notice replacement hes gunna be like "nahhhhhhhh fam"
I was in attendance when AJ crumbled vs Ruiz and also in attendance when Fury mollywhopped Wilder.
Two memorable nights.

The UK based stadium fights are just over did now, I am bored of them 'Boxing needs to branch out, put more big fights on back in America'.
Tyson Fury would rather fight in America, that is what I read into his situation at this time. I will predict that Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua will not be staged in the UK.
Fights in stadiums are epic, to say your bored of them I can only assume you have never attended them in person? Fury hasn’t thought in Fought in front of a Wembley crowd yet - I would be surprised if he didn’t want to!
That said, he covid situation is likely to dictate choices here, going to a place abroad may well offer the most money given that. That doesn’t necessarily mean America at all.
America quite frankly isn’t the be all and end all like it was in previous decades, only fury’s espn deal would really pull them in that direction.
Where are you from?

Lucky b****** :boxing:
I was originally supposed to be at Fury-Wilder 1 too in LA but I didn’t end up going because I ended up going through a divorce a month prior :lol1:
Rematch made up for it though. Would have loved to have been at that first one though.
AJ-Ruiz was insane solely because when Aj dropped him it was like “Yeah here we go it’s over now this NY trip was fun though” then boom Ruiz dropped him instantly and it was like ohhhhh :lol1:
So many fangirls literally crying after the fight. Hysterical tears some of them. Was awesome.
Yes, he would for a Deontay Wilder unification bout but not for Tyson Fury. If Wilder regains his title against Tyson Fury, then Joshua would be more than happy to oblige "The Bronze Bomber" stateside. Besides, Matchroom and Eddie Hearn has very important business here.
He probably would have this year in normal circumstances , with the covid situation and potential fights against fury - it may not happen now until 2022.
Things change quickly in boxing so we will see
I think the main reason he came to America the first time was because we were still in AJ vs Wilder mode where everything they did seemed to be a negotiating/marketing tactic against each other. That element isnt there anymore.
