Top rank paid khan 7 million for a fight that did 100K. If you believe Thurman is past prime, what the hell is Khan?
The bottom line is apparently Top Rank is eager to pay "name" fighters well above market value, if they 100% believe Bud wins the fight. For whatever reason, guys that are more relevant than Khan, if they have a chance to beat Crawford, are continously "pricing themselves out." :lol1:
Errol Spence called it out before, it's all smoke and mirrors what they're doing in Camp Crawford and Top Rank.
Khan got $5 mill not 7. $5 plus PPV upside if 100k buys reached any incentive marks
Yeah I mean Crawford-Thurman is must watch but Thurman is YEARS removed from prime. And I'm not convinced his "prime" was ever all that impressive.
Crawford has only had 1 PPV to my knowledge (Khan) but if it was two it was also (Postol). Neither Khan (in 2019) nor Postol (ever) are remotely comparable to Manny. So Keiths PPV success had a LOT to do with Manny imho, but Keith is a good opponent for anyone in terms of viewership.
Crawford and Top Rank need to fork out some $$ if they want Terrence to be the star he could be (skillwise). Otherwise he'll be an underperformer just like Bradley.

And his biggest win at 147 doesn't mean anything anymore. He's basically starting from zero. And to think he's now 33...yikes...
If Crawford and Spence doesn't fight next year, the fight is no longer gunna happen.
3 years ago I said it would never happen. The boxing landscape has changed dramatically. Everyone wants to be undefeated and will not mind the negative views as long as they get paid.

I agree 100%, mainly because Spence is going to move up in weight. I can't see him being at 147 that much longer where Crawford I think is peaked at Welter.
I'm just at a point with Crawford where he just needs to leave Top Rank as soon as his commitment with them is over. Bradley at the very least fought Manny 3 times and made a lot of money. I'm really starting to think Bud doesn't have the best representation because it's clear as day that the rest of the division are fighting one another.
Porter fought Danny, Thurman, Spence, Ugas
Thurman fought Danny, Porter, and Pacquiao
Spence fought Brook (3 years ago), Porter, and now Danny
Danny fought Thurman, Porter and now Spence
Pacquiao fought Broner & Thurman
Crawford....Jeff Horn, Benavidez, Khan, Mean Machine, now Kell Brook

I said he could ask for it as a starting bid. But if he thinks he’s getting 10 million he’s nuts. In fact I bet those were Arums exact words.
I wouldn't doubt this at all. And your last sentence sounds just like something Arum would say! Lol
I won't knock a fighter for aiming high but common sense should fall somewhere in there. A lot of these guys can't sell tickets anyway, so they need to think about the gate money or lack thereof.
Bud is also demanding his full pay during a Pandemic. Again, I can't trip about it but some of these guys need to use their heads for more than just taking punches.

That's actually a good point. The only thing though is Thurman has a pretty good record of viewership on Network TV and the Pac fight (though he was the B-Side) did better than anything Crawford has done on PPV. So that without question will be on the negotiation table when it concerns who brings what to the table. I think more than each fighter's "fans" it's more about the match up which compared to a Kell Brook (for Crawford) would have fans much more intrigued. If this fight were to be taken seriously though I feel both sides have to realize it wouldn't be a normal outing considering there'll be no fans.

Of course this idiot revelated loves it...he's an idiot.
Crawford and Khan had live gate in NYC along with PPV upside and Khans UK fans. For a Fall fight there is no live gate and possibly no PPV. Also, who are Thurman's fans? Hes done 1 PPV as the B side and lost...so whats Thurman bringing to the table here??
"Love it". Dipshit

Crawford should fight Thurman first. Earn the PAC fight.
He earned the Pac fight when he won every round against Horn and stopped him. Something Pac was incapable of doing.
That guy is probably the worst poster on here.
Most definitely in the top 1-5 worst posters here.
He must be friends with the mods obviously, cause that dude does nothing but troll and post BS.
The very fact that he a challenger who was never on PPV before fighting Pac and just lost his title has the gall to ask for 10 million(during a pandemic) shows he was never serious in the first place. Crawford is working to secure the Pac fight not waste time with ****ery like this.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Manny ain't fighting in 2020.
He is only legally allowed by the senate to fight in January and July.
Bud vs Mike Alvarado Nov 14 or 21
XD XD XD that was funny. But I didnt know that about Manny. Thanks for sharing.
Here's to hoping we salvage 2020 with another good fight next to Loma v Teofimo

Hoping we get Crawford against Manny or Pacman for the fall. Either would be great and I expect Crawford to hurt either and possibly stop either
