This would be an excellent test for both men - Wach needs to come back off his world title challenge loss to Wlad and prove he is still a top level contender, and Wilder needs a big, solid, durable guy to get him rounds. If he could get Wach out of there, that would prove a lot about his power. But Wach could weather an early storm and probably trouble Wilder late.
Would this be a good battle? Which big man do you have winning? Vote and discuss... :boxing:
It will never get made. High risk, Low reward. If wilder wins no one cares, if he loses he gets exposed. Id like to see it, i think itd be a good test for both fighters but itll never get made.
Honestly no, in the grand scheme of heavyweight boxers those are relatively bad opponents. I dont think at this point in his career he can make it in the top ten. Hes definatly a hall of famer but with his fighting style, chin and level of oposition i dont see a way that he could make it in the the top 10 list.
Lara is going to school canelo,, mark my words. dude is an amazing boxer, as is rigondeaux
I totally agree, lara is better than canelo at literally everything, you name it
For different reasons
Riddick bowe
Tony tucker
Vitali
Tunney
Imo
Tyson is underated by boxing purists.
I know what you mean about tyson. It feels like theres no middle ground, only those who think hes the best and those who think hes trash.
scott looked massive in his last fight and he still looks very overweight in his training videos. Since hes stuggled with weight before this isnt really a surprise.
I dont know about that but did anyone see Scott last night? He gained a ton and was fat, must have been close to 270
He's always had weight problems so that doesnt surprise me one bit.
I'd love to see Ward move up to 175. I don't get what the apprehension is. He actually has great chances against Stevenson and Kovalev. Yeah, he might get KOd, but it'll raise his stock SO MUCH HIGHER.
And Ward at 160 would be pretty awesome. I don't know if he could make the weight though.
I like Ward, but I still kind of hate him for doing that to Dawson. I know it goes both ways, and Dawson chose his bed, but still.
He doesn't cut a lot of weight, so I wouldn't be surprised if he made 160, but i think we can all agree that we'd rather see him at 175.
I've said he was being groomed to be a cash cow he just got cashed in before they where done shoving him down our throats and that's why they're mad. If you cant see that you blind.
you took the words right out of my mouth
poeple say this win doesnt matter because shumenov isnt worth fighting. Although i agree hes very far from being an elite fighter, he still was a world champion, does that not count for anything. Bhop knocked down a world champion at 49 years old, i dont understand how that can be considered insubstantial.
if the cotto - martinez fight goes well, and we get a good fight like kovalev vs stevenson scheduled the year could be back on track. For me its not so much that the fights have been bad, its that it doesnt look like theyre gunna get better.
i have no idea dude, i just discovered it by myself not so long ago. maybe it has something to do with the number of post, you know, how active you are in the forum
alright, thanks for your help man.
I think he deserves a fight with quillin, but no matter how this plays out, it cant go well for quillin. Either he wins and people dont like him becuase he beat up a nice guy with such a touching story, or he loses vs a massive under dog and is considered a fraud.
Its a fight id like to see, but i doubt we will.
Canelo definatly has the skills to beat him, but he would have to change his style a lot to win that fight. I dont think its a question of can canelo beat him, its a question of would he adapt to Kirklands style.
That's just a list of names that look decent on paper.
Delve a little deeper and it isn't all that good a resume.
What current fighter besides pac, marquez and mayweather have better ones?
Maybe it was a robbery maybe it wasnt, but we can all agree it was a bad performace on dannys end. Im not asking whether he won or not, Im asking do you think puerto rican fans still view him as their champion
