Then sig it. It's the truth. Tyson's best wins were against a cruiserweight and a faded ex-champion. Buster Douglas would have been pulverized by Vitali and Wladimir in 6 rounds or less. what would prime tyson have done to ross purrity and chris byrd? cant judge someone on a single fight, you have to look at their body of work. especially considering the douglas fight was by far the single worst performance by a version of tyson anywhere close to his prime. all in all tysons resume is stronger than both klitschkos combined. michael spinks, larry holmes, pinklon thomas, tony tubbs, tony tucker, tyrell biggs, razor ruddock, carl williams etc.. only fighters on that level on either klitshko resume are byrd, haye, mercer, adamek, and maybe corrie sanders or shannon briggs. tyson fought much better competition. all fighters take on guys coming up in weight or past their prime. plenty of he guys i mentioned as the klitshkos best wins were past their primes or above their best weight when they took that L too.

Tommy Morrison, when the guy was focused and in top shape, he was a force not to be messed with. Don't forget his deadly left hook!

If he's not the GOAT, he should certainly be considered one of the hardest punchers ever. I think he would have knocked Ali out had he not gotten cut to pieces. you can argue marciano is the best HW of all time

Larry Holmes is underrated by the public at large ... not so much by the purists. I always have thought that Larry was overrated...Now I am a little biased...I just flat out don't like Larry Holmes...his resume isn't horrible but I usually see him ranked WAY to high on ATG list...He beat 1000 year old Ali,Old Kenny Norton,Shavers was pretty old. I guess his best win was Ray Mercer or Gerry Cooney? I'm not really sure.

I don't know about you but I'm going with Tor Hamer for the winner of the 'never say die' award. Williams was a great pick though. It was awesome when he outlasted and knocked out a prime Mike Tyson. Prime? you might wana look that up in the dictionary Prime Jimmy Young was one hell of a heavyweight. Beat Foreman, and probably deserved the nod over Ali. Has a win over Lyle as well. I think Young just about deserved the nod by a point or 2 but its ridiculous our out of shape Ali was, plus it was the 6th time he fought in just over a year

i think wladmir is really underrated. he is boring but if he beats a hw title defense record then you cant keep him out of the top ten no matter the boring preformances against top competition.

I think Danny Williams isn't mentioned once when talking about top heavyweights of the 00s....and rightfully so lol but he is underrated in terms of heart and he always came to fight. Vitali pummeled him within an inch of his life but DW kept coming, in a domestic bout, he knocked out an opponent after he had his shoulder dislocated, he fought with his arm literally hanging off. lol just glanced through this thread ... Lewis is somewhat underrated these days as is Bowe I'll never forget the match between Bowe and Golota. I thought Golota was clearly winning , he just couldn't keep his hands off Bowe's crotch. Golota gets DQ'd then the arena erupts into a riot(there wasa lot of racial tension that night). If I remember correctly ,one of the trainers(was it Lou Duva), got beat on a little during the riot.
