He was brutally ko'd by Hearns, and came back and took the tile from the man who brutally ko'd and beat Hearns twice in Barkley. Pac would have to fight Floyd, PW, Sergio, Abraham, Froch, and Dawson just to be in the same league as Duran.

If Pacquiao/Mayweather actually happens, and breaks all records, it will be because of the power of the casuals. Let's face it, casuals prefer watching Pac fight, and it's obvious that casuals boxing fans are the majority, which means Pac is without a doubt the biggest draw in boxing. Mayweather needs to accept at most a 50/50. I think it would be fair for Pac to demand 55/45, but whatever works as long as the fight happens.

I think Pac is the greatest fighter of this generation. So if Floyd beats Pac in anything other than a split decision, I will call Floyd the greatest fighter of this generation. If Pac wins, it just confirms my beliefs even more that Pac is one of the greatest ever.

Grandpa Shane really showed his age in that fight. Gassing after two rounds, flat-footed, no head movement, no power, no nothing.
You gotta hand to Mayweather, he knows who and when to fight opponents. He fights bums to show how "skilled" he is, and he fights has-beens to show how "great" he is.
Pure boxers have to pick and choose their opponents. They need a guy who boxes also, but at an inferior level. Punchers like Pacquiao, if trained right, can match up with all styles.
It my opinion, it's never good to be "pure" at anything. You gotta learn to take the best from every style and mix and mash them together.

LOL, in-house fights simply mean more money for the promoter. It's the goal of every promoter. The problem is, not every promoter has all the best fighters.
We don't have the details, but I'm positive I'm closer to the truth than any one else. What some people are suggesting makes no business sense. Even a 10 year old would turn down the raw deal that Arum is apparently getting.
In a contract, it doesn't just say "promoter gets 2x % of fighter's purse." It also talks about how the promotion works. There's a reason boxers need promoters, and promoting ain't free.

Then this is a raw deal for Arum more than anyone else, because Arum spends money to promote Pacquiao fights. If GBP doesn't contribute to promotion and STILL take a cut out of Arum's cut, it's like Arum giving GBP free money, which is ridiculous. It's like saying Arum gets a cut from Pacquiao by doing absolutely nothing.
What I suspect happens is, say Arum spend $1,000,000 on promoting Pac fights, GBP would have to contribute $250,000. Then when Arum get's his cut from Pac, say, $4,000,000. GBP would get $1,000,000, which is still a $750,000 profit.
The only heavies Wlad would lose to are the agressive ones like Tyson. I think if people try to outjab Wlad they would lose because Wlad has all the physical advantages.
