floyd is a great fighter, but every 130 lbser in history is a stretch considering that we couldn't even get floyd to fight freitas or casamayor at 130 lbs. that's not to say that floyd wouldn't win, but still floyd never cleaned out 130 lbs. floyd has never cleaned out any division ever.
Who has floyd beat at jr lightweight? If its anything like the list of ppl he ducked at welterweight it shouldnt mean much
List of ppl floyd ducked at welterweight

130 hasn't had that many long-reigning champs.
Floyd Mayweather: 8 title defenses
Genaro Hernandez: 8 title defenses (1st reign), 3 title defenses (2nd reign)
Azumah Nelson: 10 title defenses (1st reign, 2 of them being draws), 1 title defense (2nd reign)
Julio Cesar Chavez: 9 title defenses
Alexis Arguello: 8 title defenses
Sammy Serrano: 10 title defenses (1st reign), 3 title defenses (2nd reign)
LOL
You're missing someone who defended the title for 7 yrs

When Floyd was getting started, Genaro Hernandez was the #1 fighter at 130. Mayweather dominated Genaro Hernandez. The next highest ranked fighter was Angel Manfredy. Floyd dominated Angel Manfredy. A little while later Diego Corrales became #1 at 130. Floyd dominated Diego Corrales as well. So that is 3 times that Mayweather won dominating victories over the #1 ranked opponent at 130. He also beat titlists Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez, and Gregorio Vargas.
Jukko was a pretty handy fighter too.
Oddly enough, it is Freitas who holds a win over Casamayor.
I'm aware that the decision was a bad one, but... Casamayor sure lost an awful lot of the early rounds to someone who apparently doesn't even belong in the same discussion as him.
How did you score that? Just askin'
Mayweather could beat anyone at Junior Lightweight, but in terms of skills, destructiveness, resume and overall greatness I think he needs to come 2nd to Arguello. So he is the #2 Junior Lightweight of All-Time in terms of skills, resume and overall greatness, but in terms of winning ability he is at the very top.

Andre BertoDude, you're a total ****ing retard.
Lol i realised after i posted it. I was thinking jr welter. My bad. Don't cream your pants just because someone made a mistake loser.
pryor vs mayweather would have been grand at 140...shit that would have been a fight.
Known as "the Hawk", Aaron Pryor was one of a kind. His energetic style and power in both hands, along with cocky attitude made him a charismatic and dominant champion for five years.
Dodged by former amateur rivals Tommy Hearns and Ray Leonard, Pryor didn't claim his superstar status until his epic win over legendary Alexis Arguello. Often remembered as a brawler, due to his macho attitude, Pryor had excellent boxing skills, which he displayed in the later rounds against Arguello.
Prior to winning Arguello war, this Cincinnati badass defeated legendary champion, Antonio Cervantes to capture the WBA version of the junior welterweight title.
Well this is an epic fail.............. EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe you should read the question again.

They let anybody get an account here. :nonono:
Without a doubt. Noone at 130 would have beaten Floyd. Floyd wanted to fight the winner of Frietas-Casamayor after he dominated Corrales and what happened...........Frietas ducked him.
Wasn't it impossible to make that fight since Freitas was a Showtime fighter and Floyd an HBO fighter?
Yeah...........money. After Floyd dominated Corrales he immediately became a risk vs reward type of fighter. Not many fighters wanted to take him on after that bout.
That's fair... I never really consider that ducking.
Things do have to make financial sense, and the nice thing about boxing, is that a world beating prospect with no name can get a mandatory shot, wreck a champion and become established, and start to generate money.
It is too bad that neither of those fights came off... those would be pretty good feathers in his cap if those were on his resume.
I thought both of those fights didn't come off because of money...

Correct me if i'm wrong but weren't the majority of these guys at 54
Also curious what constitutes a duck these days? If you could lay out a case as to how, why and importantly WHEN Mayweather ducked Berto for example i would be mighty appreciative :dunno:
What are you saying? Don't you remember Winky Wright and Fernando Vargas's legendary campaigns at 147?
