As one of the best to ever step between the ropes
If he fought the right fights he would have been top 5 atg IMO.But for me know he is top 25 but if he is not done yet he can still make it but he has to fight the right fights.
I agree with you in all you have just said, he has all the skills to be one of the greatest, but people will just remember him just like that, they will just keep talking about floyd's skill but they can't remember his fights in the ring because they are forgettable.
Agreed dawg...I mean imagine Mayweather fought Cotto instead of retiring?? That would have boosted his resume in such a huge way, Cotto was a young hungry undefeated fighter who was savaging people and had 28 KO's in 31 fights I think it was? Pre Margarito...Cotto was scaring people..Mayweather would have beaten him I think, and retiring and letting Margarito and Pacquiao beat him instead....tarnished his legacy a little bit for me.
As a fighter with an incredible skillsest that was unwilling to take the toughest challenges out there on a regular basis
Imagine if mayweather had pacs warrior mentality, damn
I don't think Floyd really gives a damn as long as he's got his fillthy money.
Lol the choices are funny but people will remember Mayweather for being an arrogant, mouthy, cocky cunt. But they'll remember also that he is damn near one of the best boxers to ever live....I think he has the best set of boxing skills a fighter could ever have....perhaps of all time. That's not to say he's the GOAT, but in terms of the level of skills...he very well could be. Sure as hell is the most skilled boxer I've ever seen.

A lot of people didnt like Ali in his day, due to his mouth.
Long after the Flomos and Pactards have moved on, Floyd will be remembered as one of the greats of his era.

After 10-20 years from now, how does the people will remember floyd? His outside the ring gimmicks or his fights inside the ring?
poll coming......
he will be remembered as a circus act. like harlem globetrotters to NBA, no disrespect to HG. he will be remembered as the greatest of all times that never was. a racing car that never entered a real race. he will be remembered as a gorilla and as a dog, a gorilla with a dogs tail in between his two hind legs.
As a great showman and a great fighter..........anyone who thinks otherwise is a tool.
I agree, he's a great fighter that never give his fans a great fight that they wanted to see.
I have one question for you and its very important? if pac ever tests positive for PED's whether in usada testing or comission testing, will you still support him? and will you still think mayweather was just being chicken by asking for usada testing?
i don't support a cheater, and if pac get caught by the commission using a ped's then i will become a pac hater. But that thing will never happen because pac is god fearing and never been involved or have a connections with balco type company.

your logic is so stupid, a boxer must fight to win.......thats all they need to care about. and trust me thats all pac cares about, he thinks his best chance to win is throw 1200 punches a fight and get countered and face bloodied. unfortunately that strategy is perfect if you want to give mayweather an easy win.
Nope he's not floyd mayweather jr who protects his undefeated record.
I can already see how this fight will gonna happen, if floyd will try to be defensive he will lose in a lopsided unanimous decision just like clottey, if he try to fight go toe to toe and stand on his ground which i think he could do because he's a lot bigger and stronger than pac, pac will dazzle him with his foot speed and circle him and going in and out of floyd's range and he will tag floyd with his awkward angles and pac will caught him with some monster left hands that will ko floyd. The best option for floyd to have a chance is to come forward and keep bringing the fight to pac, but i don't think floyd has that kind of stamina to hang with pac.
I'll say this that Pac foot speed will be too much for a bigger floyd.

the only smart thing floyd ever said" aint nothing cool about getting your face busted up and being involved in wars"
pac is more exciting because he takes risks and gets hit. yes you gotta admire that but a smart boxer should try to get hit as little as possible.
manny isnt thinking " let me get hit more so the fight will be more exciting for my fans
He try to get hit as little as possible and the same time throw as little as possible so that he couldn't be countered, that's why he never bring excitement in the ring.
Pac wants the boxing to be happy by giving them an exciting fights.
Floyd doesn't care for the boxing fans they don't pay his bills.
floyd is an atg that excites people during his pre fights hype and 24/7 episodes but put them to sleep during his fight in the ring.
