Thurman alone closes the gap majorly. Spence or Crawford takes him past (but I cannot see Pac doing it). Beating all three at this age elevates him into some crazy realms but mainly because it is so improbable that he could manage it.

Had 9 people watching at my house, 4 casuals who didn't really know who GGG was. Every single person thought GGG won very easily by the end of the fight. 9-3, 8-4.
Everyone agreed that Candelita couldn't bother GGG with any of his power and that he got scared and ran. We all thought GGG broke him down mentally and physically.
Slightly more people at the party but I have exactly the same story.

I have no problem with you disagreeing with my last statement which was my own opinion.
However, my opinion is also most other people's and that is a fact. The VAST majority of pros, pundits, fans and casuals considered GGG the clear winner.
If you feel Canelo won I have no beef with that. It was a very good fight with great moments. However when my opinion differs to almost everyone else's I would immediately ask myself why that was especially if most expert opinion opposed mine.

People rooting for networks/A-sides/one-race of fighters need to get a life. I just like seeing good boxing. Anyone obsessing over networks, managers, promoters rather than the fights and fighters isn’t a boxing fan.
Based on my premise that all top fighters are using PEDs and the more money you make the better team you can afford to help you avoid detection (Lance Armstrong never tested positive) with new drugs, screens, avoidance techniques, etc it is still a wash and Canelo is still the superior fighter.
Canelo fought smart, hard and had superior skills. Jacobs had superior size and reach but didn’t use it. Nor did he use his brain to understand he was going to be behind on the cards and go for broke.
I don’t have cable. I just have Netflix and Hulu. DAZN is a godsend for me. I hope it earns a fortune and carries on forever. ESPN+ was awful and pointless and I’m never going back to cable. I’m not alone. There’s more people like me every week. Just depends on whether they are boxing fans.

The only lightweights that have a good chance on beating Duran because they have some size is Pacquiao, Mayweather and Shane Mosley and I pick Duran to beat all of them. Lomachenko is too undersized and has too little power to stave off a monster like Duran. The three I mentioned had the power and size to go toe to toe with a prime Duran.

Pacquiao wins by KO. Pacquiao isn't one of Khan's cherrypicked bums from Canada who nobody ever heard of. Even at 39 Pacquiao has fast accurate powerful combinations. He is custom made to KO Khan. Pacquiao went so long without a KO win because he was fighting very rugged fighters with great chins. Khan is not rugged and has a famously weak chin.
Like Maidana, Devon Alexander, Malinaggi, Zab Judah, Diaz, Salida and a number of others who he beat.
Sure, he lost to Canelo, Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson but at least he faced them.
