Majority would have big time trouble with Fury due to there isn’t anyone like him in the history of the sport!
None of the ATG’s you’ve listed has faced a 6’9 mammoth who can move like a squirrel with the reach of a giraffe neck, box orthodox or southpaw, fast hands and good feet, solid boxing ability, all around skills and now has the temperament to also sit down on his punches and do damage!
Fury would have a huge advantage over every heavyweight ATG in at least 3 categories in boxing!
Put it like this, NONE of them would have an easy nights work against him so this should tell casuals and haters that Wilder isn’t a bum for being beat up by Fury, it just shows Fury is on another level from the rest!
People always forget a simple fact. 50% of greatness is doing to the other guy, and that is what people see, that is tangible, obvious...that other 50% which is not so obvious is preventing the other guy from doing what he wants to do.
Ali could jab consistently and work off of that jab with quickness, big deal...that was not what made him so good, it was making the other guy miss, always being in position while the other guy had to try to find him...and like Fury, making adjustments, like he did to make foreman get in trouble.
You saw it Saturday. Wilder can still knock people out, but when encountering a certain level of opposition, its not so easy.
Fury wouldn't fight that way against Holyfield or Mike. He'd have boxed them long and used his footwork and reach.
That's why Fury is a complete boxer, he can adapt and has no obvious weaknesses
Damn I was rooting for Wilder but looking at your gif Wilder's defense in that first knockdown is pure cringe.
I think Forman would have the most obvious route to victory. He’s one of the only people Physically strong enough to cope with Fury’s smothering weight.

Styles make fights. I think Mike Tyson would've beat Fury. He's used to fighting taller guys, has speed, and most importantly, knows how to bend his knees and slip under punches. Guys like Lennox and Bowe would have a much harder time because they're used to fighting tall and having the reach advantage. They're not used to giving up those things, and it would be there turns to go into the heart of the lion. Tyson's stamina and willingness to keep feinting 24/7 is exhausting to look at, let alone fight against.
Joshua and even Whyte have a better chance at beating Fury with the simple fact that they can slip shots and know how to counter. Look what Wallin caught Fury with, a simple stay low to bring the hands down and an overhand to clip him, Wilder can’t box for sht and is technically too one-dimensional (looking for one punch only). Doesn’t counter, doesn’t slip, can’t bend his damn legs and thus can’t fight a mofo longer than him. Without the right hand landing someone’s mother could beat Deontay’s ass. This is why Fury looks so awesome vs Wilder, a little defense and he’s done. 90% of fighters give Fury a tougher fight.
That said Fury is very good, he’d give anyone a fight, but that just shows he’s at that level, and at that level, all these guys are struggling and having to dig deep to beat one another. Wilder isn’t at that level.
