I do.
I think Charlo is the best available opponent for GGG. And he already beat Jacobs (close fight) and Canelo at least once.
If he beats Charlo at 36/37 years old I don't think anyone could deny his ATG status anymore. Specially because Charlo will show after GGG retires that he is the best MW.
BJS could be another good opponent as well. He can come next, after Charlo.

Zale had 5 defenses total lol. GGG has had I think 10 with just the super WBA belt? Anyway I don't think you really know what you're talking about at all but I encourage you to do some more research into boxing. Stick with it, there is some cool stuff to find out.
As per the two Wiki articles (IBO list just illustrates how long GGG has been a 'champion' at MW) - that's a lot of defenses lol. However you want to add it up man.
https://www.goliath.com/sports/the-10-longest-middleweight-boxing-title-reigns/
Another list which shows GGG as the 3rd longest reigning champion as far as time holding a belt at the weight class.
Anyway be well bro! I encourage you to keep following boxing and studying the sweet science! Best of luck to you
mm true about zale, but GGG first won a belt in the ring in 2014. all the others were awarded to him, which is a difficult way to accept as a way of "winning" a belt.
hence the count from that ibf one.
from the wba that he was given outsdie the ring, I believe its 9.
You are counting "interim" fake belt stuff.
this is debunked, 3G won his first title in the ring 2014, dumped it last year. 4 defences, 1 draw with former welter/lm, 1 points over top contender, 1 ko of welter, 1 no-hoper ko.
I suspect you are still counting "interim" and "reg".
GGG is level with tony zale, but may one day catch hopkins , true.

Lol not to mention that GGG and Hopkins are clear 1 and 2 as far as consecutive title defenses go at MW...

Can you really watch that video and act as though Monzon could even compete with GGG? I mean come on dude...open your eyes....
GGG clearly beat Canelo, twice really. And anyone neutral would give him at least 1 of those wins. Plus Jacobs and Lemieux. Murray was a much better win than Geale lol. Geale wasn't completely shot at that point but he was after GGG faced him. Watch Geale in the GGG fight and then vs Cotto. Completely different fighter.
GGG has 17 good to great wins. All clean wins, 14 KOs. Never really lost. All different styles of fighers...big, small, fast, big punchers...as opposed to someone like Hagler who struggled every time you put someone who could box move and take a punch.
Who is your top 5 all time at MW?
SUre, but whilst I answer that, I would like to ask why you churned out the same debunked lie.
top five MW
1. SRR
2. Greb
3. Hagler
4. Monzon
5. Hopkins
"Waaaaahhhh triple g doesn't need to fight Charlo waaaaaaaahhhh he already proved himself waaaaahhhh 20 title defences doe waaaaahhhh triple g can fight whoever he wants waaaaahhhh"
Insecurities for cancellations of the fight, costing promoters and networks money, plus a disservice for boxers having trained hard for it. But Geale, Chavez Jr., Pavlik could do 20lbs more on 160lb fight night. GGG too would be 175-178 against Canelo, massive back.
But as far as Monzon, he was 70’s. Even Hagler in his prime was before ‘83. The way boxers gain back the water weight today imo wouldn’t be of interest nor normal to Hagler from 84-85. He had nothing to prove, nor would he cut weight like a Crawford at 28 years of age walking around 160lbs but prepping camp for 135.
Different times.
Do you have any supporting evidence of what Hagler or Monzon weighed on fight night? Or for GGG on fight night with Canelo?
You said in a different post that MWs today are much bigger due to rehydration. GGG is not really a big MW, (I doubt he has ever been much over 170 on fight night) so if he indeed is beating bigger guys historically that is actually another feather in his cap, so thank you for pointing that out.
theres no great win on his resume, but two good wins, jacobs and lemieux, possibly geale too. the rest is middle to crud. whats bias got to do with you not seeing that.
because Monzon has great wins.
and because calling GGG an ATG for haivng 4 title defences means you have to open the doors to 1000 other boxers.
Lol not to mention that GGG and Hopkins are clear 1 and 2 as far as consecutive title defenses go at MW...
Middleweights of this era are significantly bigger due to rehydration luxuries.
Re-hydration luxuries? What do you mean? I guess you mean same day weigh-ins kept guys a bit closer to their own weight...but GGG is not really a weight bully, I don't he weighs much different on fight day than Monzon did when he fought. (as evidence I think GGG had to be under 170 for basically all of his fights on fight night when he had the IBF belt)
Do you have any info for what fight night weight was for Monzon or other past MW fighters?

Also he beat 17 good to great fighters. Canelo (2), Jacobs, Murray, Macklin, Geale, Proksa, Rubio, Monroe, Stevens, Brook, Ouma, Lemieux, Vanes, Adama, Ishida, Rosado. KOd almost all of them and all clear wins. Just a very impressive resume for anyone who isn't biased. theres no great win on his resume, but two good wins, jacobs and lemieux, possibly geale too. the rest is middle to crud. whats bias got to do with you not seeing that.
By the way, how could anyone say GGG isn't an ATG - you really think Monzon could hang with GGG? Lol watch that video

So y’all got him as an ATG?!?..why?
Lol. Yeah some random no name from BFE robbed a highly regarded American in the Olympics. Makes 0 sense but your posts never make sense so what else is new. It was a good fight though and I think GGG was 2-1 with Dirrell in the amateurs. KOd Bute in amateurs too. Can't take that one away from him.

monzon AND Triple L both garbage.
Wow. GGG would put Monzon in a coma had this fight been possible.
Yeah but for whatever reason (maybe the MW was weak in the 70's?) Monzon dominated on that decade. You can't compare different eras. I'm not sure if Monzon ducked anyone but I never heard so. He seemed to have bad technique on that video, you should see others like this:
