As long as there's at least one good fight per month on each service, I'll probably get/keep both. Already have ESPN+.
I also have Showtime and HBO primarily for boxing, though HBO's output has been sparse lately.
Neither... Both are services that I would only use once or twice a month for a good fight and that's it. I would only subscribe to a service that I will be using at least daily. Did the ESPN+ for the trial and just watched a fight and never used it again.Exactly the point! I'm with you on that assessment. They are charging too much money for these online streaming services especially if you are subscribed to cable television too.
DAZN has been announced at $9.99 a month.
ESPN+ is $5 a month.
Which would you subscribe to out of the two and which one is a better deal?

From a boxing fans perspective DAZN is superior. They have more boxing content and only half the top rank cards are on ESPN+ anyway. I guess if you like other sports like MLS soccer or rugby then it would be worth it though. I plan on subscribing to DAZN but not to ESPN+.
I already have ESPN+ and will be signing up for the free trial of DAZN to see if I want to become a fulltime subscriber. ATM, ESPN+ definitely has the wider range of sports option and also the better fights/fighters. I suspect the DAZN side will only improve and having the WBSS is a big coup. In the end I'll probably end up with both.
I really hope DAZN have some kinds of fight shows as well. Pre-fight breakdowns, post fight analysis, schedule look-aheads, boxing gossip and talk show type stuff. That would really increase the chances of me becoming a subscriber. ESPN+ does a little of this with Rafael's show, which isn't all that good and the other show which I really like (name is slipping my mind right now.)
Espn has more content but all that **** used to be free on ESPN on demand or 360 whatever they used to call it
this
if i had to id go espn+ all day...because of that and at least crawford, pac and loma
but i refuse to get espn+ on principle...i have plenty of expenses and dont need to pay for something that used to be free with my cable subscription
I have ESPN+ and will be getting DAZN as well. ESPN+ will have better US fighters as Hearn's stable is nothing special and is just getting started. But the WBSS should be really good again so that helps them. I don't care much about the Matchroom cards as most of them don't ever excite me. But AJ vs Povetkin is rock solid.
ESPN+ just gives you other content which is much better now. Love the little documentaries they have from the rookies in the NBA, the library content of past TR fights, even Helwani's and Dan's weekly shows are good.
