Fair example: mayweather supposedly hasn't got much power, but his timing sent hatton into the corner..pacquiao's power however dropped hatton dead..
Punches hurt n more likely to ko you if you don't see them, but you could see a Tyson punch coming and it would probably still kill ya ;)
what do you think causes more KO's? And excellently TIMED punch or a punch thrown with exceptional POWER ??
Both... ...

Then it's a good thing your book aint worth shit.. I am sure no one is lining up to buy it.
Everybody looks good until they get in the ring with Wlad.. then they are "bums" who "didn't execute".
I guess Wlad has nothing to do with this.. He is limited and not that good.
Everybody just forgets how to box once the bell rings.
This may be a weak pool of HW's.. but most fights are competitive. Once a Klit is involved.. It's a blow out.
This proves that the Klits are REALLY good.
And babies need to suck some titties and shut their mouths.
dude this is not playing golf or swimming! go in there with a broken toe against a monster like wlad who puts nonstop pressure on you!
Jesus Fuck.. are you always such a numbnut moron??
Shut up already.. You whine worse than a kid who's mommy wont buy him a candy out shopping..
We get it.. You think his toe is a legitimate excuse. Nobody cares!!
Haye is a Fraud .. now go suck some tit, ya baby.
Haye just needs to win 1 or 2 fights and I am certain one of those sanctioning bodies will make him a mandatory.
I am certain the only boxers good enough to beat him are Wlad and Vitali.
But actually based on Vitali's last few performances, I think Haye could outbox him.
The thing is now.. Haye is just another fighter and will have to earn his shot.. But he is only one or two wins away from earning a shot.
Love him or hate him.. He demanded attention and got it.
But the most exciting? I might go with Chris Eubank myself.. Such is the nature of opinion.
Kelley Hamed is still one of the most intense 4 rounds of boxing ever.
I remember a soft spoken polite and intelligent person in Jermaine Taylor.. perhaps a little too much so. But this new Thug version don't wash.. If it is contrived it's a piss poor job and if it's not .. It's just sad and maybe he does have brain damage. He looks half retarded in those videos.
I would like to see Taylor make a comeback..
I think he suffered a concussion which made him prone to being KO'd for a while..I am hoping he has healed and can reach his potential or at least part of it. That's my theory anyway.
Of course it might be an issue of not having a boxer's heart and then my theory goes out the window.
Either way I am eager to find out.
His power is definitely his most underrated aspect
His power comes from his punches being accurate, fast and sneaky.
He is not heavy handed by any standard.. But good punching will make up for that.
Not the most exciting fighter.. But people harp on too much about his style.. He does what he has to do to win.. What people really underrate is his punching.. He wins fights because he is a superb puncher. Fast, accurate and sneaky lacking only KO power.
He is a bit of a whiner but that doesn't take away from his boxing skills, which he has in spades.
Froch seems more intelligent and his body language was more relaxed and less guarded than Groves's.
I think maybe the roles are a bit reversed this time. Now Groves seems to be buying his own hype and Froch has something to prove.
Froch has a superior resume to Calzaghe.. It's not even close.
I guess Calzaghe is feeling forgotten.. And such is his precious legacy..It's been what? 6 or 7 years? And no one gives a damn about the guy.
Some legacy.
Have been enjoying Froch fight since his 12th fight and have not missed one since.
Others on this forum laughed at me when I said this guy would be champ.
Froch has been in so many entertaining fights plus he is the most unintentionally funny interview in boxing.. He is pretty funny when he means to be as well.
It's tough to pick just one.
But I could say Bute.. Mostly it was the look on Bute's face starting around the 3rd until he got knocked out.. I loved seeing the fear in his eyes as his world started to crumble around him.
Beautiful annihilation.
Ward figures Super 6 should have made him a super star.. But the guy who came in 2nd is getting all the glory.
Ward hasn't moved past this yet and is probably a bit delusional about his own star power.
For whatever reason.. Ward has no star power and he needs to accept it and BOX already.
Stardom is like a virus.. Some people catch it and some don't.
It sucks when those not as good as you catch it. But whining about it isn't going to fix it.
It's a duck.. But it's a clever duck.. Let's not forget boxing is also a business and a business that sells the hype surrounding the product as well as the product.
Ward is all risk and low reward. Good business says stay away from such investments.
What is the point of going into a fight that you will likely lose that no one wants to watch except a few Ward pole riders?
Froch simply does not need Ward to make good fights and more importantly.. Good money.
Why would Ward want to fight someone he already beat anyway? It wasn't close or controversial. Stinks of riding coattails.
Some people.. The fight did NOT happen and likely ever wont and certainly at this point, shouldn't.
All we have is speculation and there is no way you can possibly think your speculation trumps someone else's.. Why to believe that would make you a delusional, narcissist, auto fellatio performer.
I know have seen more than just "some highlights" of both fighters and came to my conclusion the same way you did.. Just a different one.
Gurgling your own jizz doesn't make you right and it doesn't count as scoring some head either.
Seems some people might not realize how awkward Froch is as well.
Froch does indeed have a better resume than does Ward..
But some of that is because no one wants to fight Ward..
Ward is high risk low reward and that spells bad business for more high profile fighters and their promoters.
Floyd on the other hand .. Saying Froch has a better resume is not entirely accurate.. Floyd has been fighting at championship level for longer than Froch has been boxing professionally...
However Froch has only ever ducked a rematch with Ward..Floyd's resume is perhaps more notable for who isn't on it or who is on it after they were past their primes. Floyd and his team are expert cherry pickers and so although Floyd might have a better resume he is a pussy and Froch isn't..
I said years a go and I still say today.. Floyd is a high performance race car who races mini vans and then claims he is fastest car on the block.. When another race car comes along Floyd claims it is using nitro injections or alien technology, calls it cheater and then goes back to racing family sedans..
When he did race other race cars ,, They were obsolete and had been in a few crashes before he would even get on the same track as them.
This is the way it has been for some time now.
Huge Cotto fan here..
The question is.. Was Cotto that good last night or was Martinez that bad?
The answer is probably somewhere in the middle.
I am not going to proclaim Cotto P4P number one because of it.
Cotto is a world class fighter and a Champion. He always brings his A game (except maybe against Trout) and a few times his A game was not enough.
Future hall of famer who is rarely in a dull fight.
But he will never be "great" just pretty damn good. Which is impressive in itself.
