WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO is refusing to rule out a rematch with David Haye after admitting he has run out of people to beat up.
Brit David Haye lost his WBA world heavyweight title to the Germany-based Ukrainian on Saturday and is begging for a second fight.
Wladimir Klitschko, who now holds three versions of the world heavyweight titles, would consider a second fight with Haye after admitting there is a lack of credible challengers.
Haye, 30, wants an immediate rematch so he can keep to his promise of quitting this October – but Klitschko is unlikely to grant him his wish so soon after the weekend’s tame effort.
He said: “Who is there to fight? Maybe I would call out Manny Pacquiao to fight me but that is not a match because of the size difference.
“Maybe a rematch with Haye is something else. There is some time to think about it.
“It was not an easy job to fight David because of his speed and skills.
“I didn’t accomplish all my goals because I did not knock him out but now I have all the belts in my family with my brother Vitali, the WBC world champion.”
After watching the fight I don't think there is any way he could ever beat Wlad. For him to beat Wlad he would need Wlad to open up and take some risks, and that's just not Wlads style.
Who in the f.uck is really going to torture themselves by watching this fight again? Jesus Christ....
you are lieing to yourself by saying you dont want to watch it
Haye just needs to win 1 or 2 fights and I am certain one of those sanctioning bodies will make him a mandatory.
I am certain the only boxers good enough to beat him are Wlad and Vitali.
But actually based on Vitali's last few performances, I think Haye could outbox him.
The thing is now.. Haye is just another fighter and will have to earn his shot.. But he is only one or two wins away from earning a shot.
also from what i am reading Booth will no longer be training Haye, he wants no part of Hayes future and wants him to retire...
so i guess he'll need to find someone else to train him
For me, David Haye underperformed on saturday, and I was wondering about his knee-tactics, so I would be interested in a rematch to see what happens if Haye goes into attack mode.
I think the fight was incredibly boring, but the competitors were competitive in my eyes. At least until the later rounds were Haye seemed more frustrated than anything else.
I was expecting Klitschko to out-punch Haye once Haye had let off his steam, but Wladimir remains a cautious and scared little big man.
Seeing as Haye is the only man able to avoid being dominated by Wlad, and actually being a danger to him, I can't see any other fighter I'd rather see in there with Wlad.
Haye should keep away from Vitali though, because a higher punch frequency will see Haye on his ass.
I have another feeling a Kitschko/Haye fight probably won't get made, because Haye would probably get something like 35% (at most) from K2.
Doubt Haye will be able to swallow his pride to get another crack.Haye is not the champ anymore. Beggars can't be choosers, Haye said that himself. I think he will admit to a contract which would be at least decent, but forget 50/50 and no rematch clause. That was a Huge concession given to Haye by Wlad. Imagine Haye won on Saturday he would've gotten all 3 belts from Wlad in a single fight with no rematch in the contract. It's somewhat understandable Wlad fought a cautious battle, he put much more on the table than Haye.
Rematch, because I'm sure Wlad can get the KO next time. Now that Wlad has completely revealed Haye's strategies against him in the ring, he should be able to take him out.

he'll accept less, if it means a rematch with wlad, he was practically beggin on bbc news today

wlad doesn't seem all too thrilled about this victory. like i've been saying this past two days, the fraud proved to be a more difficult challenge than wlad had expected. i just don't see the purpose in a rematch. it will have the same results. wlad will always be wlad and haye will be haye, broken toe or not. he had at least 3 opportunities to finish haye off during the fight but he didn't. the speed, elusiveness and power of haye gave him too much doubt.
i think it's for personal pride, round 12 left a sour taste in his mouth, he didnt finish on his own terms,
also i think he doesnt want Vitali to clean up after him
he promised Haye a pizza face and tko and did neither.
haye proved to be harder than he imagined, maybe he under estimated his speed and power?
he stopped taking risks after round 3, he became very cagey, also i dont think the criticism from Emanuel has helped
also add the money factor, it was a big payday for him
