Why are people acting like Haye got destroyed?

What round was it when both guys didnt throw more than 10 punches I cannot remember and I refuse to watch that trash again. People are overblowing how good Wlad did. Some rounds could be given to the other guy on a single punch at times. Thats how un-willing they both were to engage. No one is over blowing how good Wlad is. We are stating how god-awful Haye was. Just because he was making Wlad miss doesnt mean he wins a round. If he threw some punches he probably would have.

Haye didn't get destroyed. But, no logical rational person can give him more than 3 rounds.

Um he didnt............. The hell fight were you guys watching. haye did not get destroyed, and I am disappointed that he did not. People are reacting to his egregious performance which, when held against the backdrop of his campaign hubris, is what subjects him to so much derision. He has earned it. To be fair, even though he is making excuses which seems common to at least two British boxers, he did give Wladimir some small due and seems somewhat sensible of his weak bargaining position as a hindrance to securing a rematch.

Right. There were rounds that were won on a mere 2 punches. Some rounds Wlad did nothing. Some rounds Hye did nothing. Yet people are acting like Wlad pulled off a whitewash. I think most of it has to do with the pre-fight talk. Haye did ok, not terrible, not great but as he said himself his walk didn't match his talk. It's sad the lengths some of the haters are going to however, he must really have gotten to them emotionally.

I totally agree. It's shocking the way people are acting.. I mean Haye talked the big game, so live up to it, but Haye won 4-5 rds to me... Wlad also did absolutely nothing. Someone tell me what Wlad did? Hay generally landed a power punch in each rd, and there were rds where Wlad landed only the jab. I didn't know lanfding only the jab could win a fight. Right. I'd have preferred him to have more success but I don't know what else you guys wanted him to do apart from go bombs away and get knocked out. I dOnt know, maybe take a chance or two. Throw some punchers, try to win some rounds, work the body, throw more than 2 punches at a time, back up your words, any of the above.

Sad **** considering Haye was supposedly the biggest challenge for Wlad. The heavyweight division is in one big mess, and its not Klitschko fought, nobody can challenge them.

I guess so. Like I said before, Haye gets alot of hate because he talked the talked and didn't deliver at all. But, on the other hand, Wlad didn't really much of anything either. But, was given the W because he controlled the distance of the fight. Yea, but thats wlad, he's the champion. He wins fights, and 85% of them by ko. Haye didnt even put forth an effort to make wlad do anything except control the entire fight. When you're gonna fight wlad, there's no surprises. I just csnt believe that haye's gameplan was to lay back and try to catch wlad with a wild shot. He had absolutely nothung else on his mind and it was poosie.

Is it THAT hard for wlad to throw the jab at a dude's freakin chest instead of the empty air where haye's face was?I guess so. Everybody looks good until they get in the ring with Wlad.. then they are "bums" who "didn't execute". I guess Wlad has nothing to do with this.. He is limited and not that good. Everybody just forgets how to box once the bell rings. This may be a weak pool of HW's.. but most fights are competitive. Once a Klit is involved.. It's a blow out. This proves that the Klits are REALLY good. And babies need to suck some titties and shut their mouths.

Wlad didn't dominate but he clearly won. I gave Wlad 9 rounds to 3. Haye's movement and head movement was very good but he put far too much focus into that and it affected his workrate big time. Haye's not an active fighter anyway but he was extra inactive last night. That simply allowed Wlad to fight at his own pace and control it behind his jab.

Last nights fight reminded me of Ivan Drago vs Apollo Creed(except Creed is a much better boxer than Haye, he actually was able to put some combinations together). All Wlad does is stick that telephone pole arm of his and follow it up with a straight right, but, he couldn't really find Haye last night. haters gotta let it go. haye talks a good game but cant execute. vlad dominated. elusiveness is awesome if you can capitalize on it but he didnt.

andreward Andre S.O.G. Ward It's not just the Haye lost because anyone can lose. But when you talk the way he did. You need to perform better than that. Absolutely this! ^^^^^^^ When there's more action coming from your mouth then your fists, it makes you look like a COMPLETE fool. Especially when he blamed the ENTIRE thing on his pinky toe, and saying he proved he was great because Wladimir didn't knock him out. Since when did NOT getting knocked out (by someone you've clearly called a joke and a disgrace for years) prove that you are great?? He fell amazingly short of the T-Shirt he had been wearing of him decapitating the Klitchkos. It makes him extremely laughable. He deserves every bit of the back lash he gets.

There was maybe one or two rds that wlad landed ten or more jabs. Gtfo. Wlad lajded more rights than haye last night. Wlad dictated the pace, he came forward, cut off the ring, outthrew, outlanded haye. There is nkt a single facet of the game that haye beat wlad in. Im not saying wlad was all that impressive, but he was the champ, you have to take him out of his comfort zone and at least try to push him. Haye did nothing of the sort. His wild combos were missing all night. He mounted zero consistent offense while wlad had a jab in his face all night.

I didn't know lanfding only the jab could win a fight. 10 jabs > 1 decent right hand People keep saying Wlad's jabs weren't landing, but they were landing FAR more often than Haye's predictable right hands. I could understand if Wlad landed like 3 jabs to Haye's one big right hand. Then its more debatable. But the ratio was FAR larger than that. Did Haye even land double digits in any rounds?
