I think he's got a very good chance against dubois
I hope he's a big underdog so it can make the payout even better. I think he has a great chance of beating Daniel. Both guys have been in tough fights, but I feel Parker has more versatility and an unbreakable will.
SMH, if he could have beaten him he would have fought him. All this BS now is just that, a bunch of B*ll Sh%T. GGG would have destroyed him, Froch did not wanna go out with that lose of his fragile mind.
Personally I would of rather Buddy Mcgirt. Ronnie is to soft spoken and AJ needs fire in his corner because he can’t create it his self. AJ is a manufactured killer he’s not a natural so he need somebody that can inspire
Yea but Plant is boring. Saunders obviously didn't have that same kind of confidence against Boo Boo or else he wouldn't have cheated and pulled out.
Well said. Facts!!
Let’s hope he beats the Aussie kid cause if not Loma is gonna be in the driver seat again. All these postponements are not a good look and with all this time
going by the win over Loma is slowly fading into the background. Especially is Loma keep whooping people like he did Nakatani.
I would watch the rematch for sure.
In every other sport no matter the age your objective is the championship and to prove ur the best in the sport. Let’s keep that same energy in boxing.
It depends of what version of both these guys show up. But it’s the heavyweights so 1 punch can change every thing. If anybody knows that AJ Does, Usyk is consider one of the best cruiser weight ever for a reason. The kid can fight and his movement could create problems.
Bud has been his own worst enemy. Inactivity and not using the momentum after the spence fight has cost him. How could you rank Bud Over Inoue or Usyk when both Inoue and Usyk have fought 4 and 3 time within the same year Bud only fought once? it's a what have you done for me lately type vibes.
the last person to appear on any of the lists is berlanga, the top guy on the lists is the avoided guy, coincidence? i think not
Canelo is working his way DOWN the list, first Jaime, and next Berlanga. who is 11TH on the list? Because a "PAAAY DAAY" is coming!
It’s hard to grade a fighter that fights an old sparring partner. It’s easy to look good against someone ur familiar with. Hats off to AJ but hopefully he fights a live opponent next and not another old sparring partner.
I don't see it either. He's probably the same height as heavyweight Jared Anderson. Cutting weight to 154 could be impossible. We'll see.
Charlo is like 5'8" on a good day hes not a big guy, i stood next to him and im 6'3". He can make the weight the question is does he really wanna after getting cashed out by canelo
I said it years ago Virgil has been a 160 for a long time he was just able to cut the weight to get to 147. But as we all know when u get older and start filling out losing the weight isnt the same. This is a no brainer for me when it comes to who ima put my money on....Tim by mid rounds to late stoppage. Tim will be coming back with avengeance to so i expect a highly motivted and determine TIm.
The question made me chuckle but i must admit i had to pause and think about it because parker has surely made a resurgence late in his career that has put him in the realm of this eras "sleeper" heavyweight.
better resume than most fighters in the past 20 years in just 20 fights. almost all of his fight have been championship level or championship quality opponnets
He whipped Canelo period. He out sped him, out thought him and out lasted him.
I don’t see Benividas or Morrel jumping at an opportunity to fight ANY lite heavyweight or cruiser weight. I wonder why?
Smh, because they are super middle weights like Canelo, DUH!!
Floyd started this current era of divas and Spence is about to correct all the madness. Business wise Floyd was head and shoulders above the rest but competitive spirit come on dude. somebody said he ran it back with Maidana to make things clear, no. He clearly beat him the 1st fight but the demand made it easy for him to collect another pay day and avoid the other top guys longer.
I had Crawford winning this fight when it was first presented some years back but now that Spence has added some scalps and better competition overall than Crawford I'm giving the edge to Spence.
A few things I noticed about Boots last nite where:
1)His inability to cut off the ring, Karen ran circles around him the entire fight
2)His lack of defense, Karen kept hitting him flush w/t that left hook all night
3)Inability to adapt and change game plans when something ain’t working, Boots was head hunting all night & kept swinging @ air more than once
4)Lack of conditioning, dude has never gone 12th rounds before so is understandable but still kid seem beat after the fight
Again, not hating on the kid but if an unknown Euro able to push Ennis to his worst performance thus far don’t want to see what Bud or Spence do to him. Honestly, the kid needs a few more tune-ups against solid opposition such as Mean Machine or Butaev caliber fighters before he fights for a belt.
Karen is a veteran and if you know how to fight and don't wanna get KO'd you can easily make it a long night for anyone. Just Like Mikey vs Spence or Pacquiao vs Mosely. I think it's now or never for Boots no need to regress. It's hard to stay responsibly defensive when the other guy is not trying to fight. As far as his conditioning it was superb considering Karen ran all night and Boots tracked him all night with his punches losing no steam
