When Floyd had close fights with the likes of Castillo and Maidana, he could have easily took the win and left it. But he jumped back in with them in the very next fight to silence the doubters.
We aren't seeing Haney willing to go back in with Loma, despite most of the public thinking he lost. No desire to show everyone he can win clearly.
We saw it with Canelo too, didn't rematch Lara. Only rematched GGG in the second fight because the first was a draw, if Canelo got a gift win in the first, the second fight doesn't happen. Canelo was caused juicing before the second fight too. Most people thought he lost the second fight too and then he waited till GGG was 40 until he could get a genuine win. Now he's ducking Bivol too.
The list goes on
Say what you want about Floyd but he was in a position to take those W's and run with them but he wanted to leave no doubt. That's what real elite competitors do.
Its still there, its just standing behind money, it's the plastic times we live in, nothing stands still it's changing all the time, your reason for the GOAT has nothing to do with boxing ability, what are you greatest off? beating a bum a month.
Are you trying to say SRR isn't the GOAT? Just for clarification.
Mannys faced a 145lb dehydrated waif in Oscar and its a risk, while Floyd beating a 18 pound bigger Oscar is no risk,.
Manny fought the same shopworn version of Oscar that Floyd did, he just did a better of job of beating the brakes off him
:)
This is stupid and you either don't understand boxing or your head is in the sand. Floyd was the one to make the Manny fight, it wasn't Manny he never did a thing to make the fight except tell the fans he wants May next every time he fought a dud.
How the fck do have the resume Mayweather has and not take risky fights , Mannys faced a 145lb dehydrated waif in Oscar and its a risk, while Floyd beating a 18 pound bigger Oscar is no risk, lol fck off with this BS, if you can't see Floyds resume compared to others then you don't know what you are looking at.[/QUOTE
Here's just a few of Floyd's excuses for not fighting Pac.
"My health would be at risk."
"No 50/50 for Pac just flat 40 million."
"Manny isn't good enough."
"Pac's PPV numbers."
"Pac has lost and I'm undefeated."
"I dominated the 90's , where was Pac?"
"He fights my leftovers"
"He comes from 106."
"Lose Arum if you want to make the fight".
You can say Pac made excuses too but
it's a fact Floyd made these excuses for not fighting.

LOL:cool:
There's certainly not a lot with old time competitive spirit. That's why Sugar Ray Robinson is the GOAT and probably always will be.

Castillo 1
Maidana 1
ODLH
Pacquiao
Judah (DQ)
He has 5 losses in my book.
I agree with all those names that mayweather robbed but at first i don't count pacquiao as one of mayweather GIFT WINS but after reviewing and watching their fight in youtubes it was clear why so many people believed that pacquiao won the fight. It was insane to believed that pacquiao who is a lightweight size could compete and arguable won against mamyweather who is a full fledge welterweight.
There is only one Floyd Mayweather. Unfortunately, not every fighter is like a Floyd Mayweather. Canelo is solely a mercenary fighter who avoids dangerous risks outside of the ring. As far as Devin Haney goes; He has nothing to prove.
Why does he have to keep fighting over and over the same person if nobody likes the outcome every time he wins? He just recently defeated George Kambosos in back to back title fights when they weren't even close. So let's give the kid a break here!
If Loma really wanted to win the fight then he should have knocked Devin out in order to erase all doubt who won. The bottom line is he just didn't didn't try hard enough to win. You don't get to defeat the champion simply because it was a close fight.
You must dominate him; Something which he didn't do.

But your book is toilet paper that's only good for wiping dirty asses, you only show that you don't know how to score fights and off course, you are hate-motivated or a love-sick puppy, fans are so messed up.
lets remember floyd didnt want to fight a slick boxer like stevie johnston but he gladly fought castillo who was pretty basic and had been ko'd 4 times when floyd fought him. castillo got a razor thin decision over johnston so floyd took the fight...it obviously backfired but he thought it would be an easy one, if he knew how good castillo really was he never would have taken the fight or would have waited till he aged out like all his other opponents.
maidana was just a cherry pick, he never should have struggled with a guy like that who had just been schooled by devon alexander, even in the rematch floyd just held the entire fight in a giant waste of time.
Name the fighters you like who fought better competition than Floyd

Where do you dream this sht up from, you attach a line of BS to a name he didn't fight, just like gossip at the laundromat washerwomen spinning total BS.
Manny has 8 fcn losses did he struggle with anyone, who hasn't struggled with top-class fighters at some point over a career, your narrative is so fkn lame, you could only spin your BS to teenagers in a forum I guarantee you in person you would be a church mouse and say none of it for looking like a fool.

Yeah that was so embarrassing he can only manage a GIFT WIN against a class C boxer maidana who almost got beat by a shopworn and bloated morales.
Froid is disgrace for boxing.
So his win against pacquiao was also a GIFT from vegas judges.. Another proof that mayweather is REALLY THE MOST GIFTED (WINS) FIGHTER OF ALL TIME.:beerchug:
