I don't see Usyk having much of a chance as he doesn't punch hard enough to have a "punchers chance". Doesn't have the hand speed of Andy Ruiz and hasn't really looked that impressive at Heavyweight.
:lol1::lol1::lol1:
Yes, he'll stand there, fold his arms and let Usyk keep tagging him as a counterpuncher. :lol1:
Usyk is Mayweather, Pernell Whitaker. Pep and Benitez rolled in one and he doesn't get touched. And AJ is featherfisted and he can't punch himself out of a wet paperbag. :lol1:
lol how stupid do you look now?
almost zero chance
only way he wins is if AJ comes in super gun shy for some reason and gets outboxed in a sparring session. Usyk is skilled enough to beat AJ in light sparring but he is too slow and too under powered at heavyweight to be a threat in a real fight. AJ has that threat of power, the power difference with Usyk and Chisora was crazy, they had no audience, watch that fight and you can hear every thud from chisora when he lands on Usyk's guard. Usyk looked slow and plodding with the added weight. If he gets clipped good by AJ i dont see how he gets back up.
Not much to add to this. Usyk has looked stringy at HW. He’s not the size of a K2 brother. It’s all a matter of how often AJ can land something decent on him that gives the narrative. Usyk is going to use his legs all night regardless. If AJ can land often enough even without hurting Usyk badly then Usyk will help sell AJ’s power by running around. Body language will be big in this fight. I think Usyk’s reaction to the first few hard jabs he’s hit with will be a very telling sign. There’s a good chance it’s The Fans that lose this one.
This fight will either be like Byrd vs Wlad 1 or Byrd vs Wlad 2. the smaller better boxer having his moments before the bigger inferior fighter imposes his size
It's a Matchroom show, so we know he ain't gonna get a decision win regardless of what happens in the ring. The only way he could win is to KO AJ and I just don't see that happening unless he manages to tire Joshua out so much that he loses his legs in the later rounds. So there's a 90% chance AJ comes out victorious.
Big AJ fan here and i wouldn't be too surprised if he lost on points. If Usyk can withstand the pressure after 6/7 rounds depending he has not been clobbered too much he can dance to a win similar to what AJ did in the Ruiz rematch. Having said that i expect AJ to blast his ears off.
Its actually quite comforting fighting someone that you can actually bring your chin out to the dance and let it hang out and even if it is clipped you should still be alright.
It is, but Joshua is not that guy.
Usyk might not be the biggest puncher, but he arguably has the best timing and accuracy out of all the fighters Joshua has fought.
He can and will hurt Joshua.
Bet the ring won't be the same size as AJ vs. Ruiz 2...
Ah, I hadn’t considered ring size. Will AJ try to get the smallest ring size possible? An 18 ft ring?
I think Usyk wins this However, let me be clear here! I don't think the judges will let Usyk decision AJ. Im making my prediction with the understanding that Usyk winning a close fight on the cards will not be upheld by the judges.
Usyk has made adjustments since the Chisora fight where he looked awful. He has gotten bigger so he can be physical with Joshua in the later rounds of the fight. Usyk's foot speed and angles will figure into his fighting. Joshua has never fought a fighter who boxes nearly as well as Usyk. Hand speed, size, and strength are relevant but can be neutralized by a boxer as talented as Usyk.
Usyk has a killer instinct..watch him dismantle Hunter when Hunter starts to back off in the later part of the fight. If Usyk gets AJ in trouble he will not let him off the hook.
almost zero chance

Almost exactly how I see it
That's what it was. Stopped to keep his ko record perfect. Funny was earlier rounds Takam was actually hurt but let them fight. I was like WTF after the fight was stopped. He was blocking and parrying AJ's pubches....
It was all about keeping him up there with Wilder as a puncher. Then they just excuse it off like, Takam was not gonna win anyway, so what, he was going to go the distance which would look much better for him than being knocked out by a bs stoppage. I'd love to see Usyk kick Joshua's ass, but, does he have the power? I'm not sure. Ruiz just through the kitchen sink rapidly at Joshua and went for broke, and landed the shot he needed, is that Usyk's style? I don't think so, but I'm hoping for him to win anyway as I'm a Fury fan, not Joshua, though I enjoy his fights. Nash out.
Ok, thats ok, But man come on, AJ doesn't lose to anybody in the UK.
If Ruiz can do the job, Usyk has an exceptional chance. AJ was running scared from Ruiz in the rematch. Usyk going to give AJ major problems.
- -BTFO fat Andy in the rematch.
When U graduate from Romper Room?
Lol I took 20% as well. I expect the ref. To stop the fight first time Usyk gets hit good. What fight was that they stopped SUPER early??? Takam I think it was...
Yeah Takam, Joshua knocked him down very early, around the second round, but after that he was in no trouble at all and was coasting to points, but Joshua had a 100% KO record to protect at the time, and the ref, with his bonus payment from Eddie Hearn, stepped in with Takam under no trouble whatsoever.
If Joshua is losing or in any trouble at all, if he lands a good shot on Usyk, the ref jumps and stops it, 100%. Also, any round Usyk just edges, he will lose, but the judges will be clever in giving him rounds when they can, as they always know the total score and what rounds they can give Usyk to make it seem fair.
Usyk's only chance is going balls to the wall for the KO, risky, but he ain't winning this on points regardless of what happens. Nash out.
