You call a guy weight bully and he's beating everybody he faces from 168 to 200 so it's possible he's just a talented fighter.
Boxing fans are a fickle group its rare for someone to just give a fighter credit where it's due. Everything shouldn't be agenda driven just enjoy the sport.
A lot of what you said here is not true. There are two Foremans, and he fought differently when he returned to the ring to compensate for his older age.
He is not sloppy. His hands were low to raise them up and deflect shots or to protect his body from punches. And he has very good defensive skills.

Every punch he throws hurts. He can hit you anywhere, and you'll feel it in your soul.
Also look at his lean backs and punch techniques:

You don't know what you're are talking about man.
Killer links to show what Big George was great at. Another thing not mentioned is styles make fights and his style was incredibly deceptive. His muscle bound body and brute style when he was young played a roll in his deception. He used his natural strengths to his advantage to hit people. As you mentioned keeping his hands low to push incoming punches up and then making his opponents pay was a serious strength in his favor because of his punching power. When he hit somebody it hurt them and that was just 1 part of his overall ability.
Fury knows from their History what hes up against! Real different body language from Fury as opposed to when he fought Wikder 3x
It wasnt just Fury though. Whyte wasnt at all involved until this week and basically had zero to say and he is a known loud mouth so with that theory it would go both ways.
Beterbiev and Joe Smith Jr are both white men so the comment about Bob hating blacks and women doesnt relate to this topic although it may be a true statement just not relevant here.
Flashing your winnie will get you stabbed up in a California prison main-line. Thats a weirdo charge to have on your jacket.
That's a weirdo charge everywhere bro not just California
Porter didn’t beat Spence. Styles make fights. We cannot look at their common opponents as a measuring stick to determine who will win. Fans used to say the same thing regarding Mayweather/Pacquiao in terms of their common opponents, and looked how that fight turned out. Stylistically, Crawford has the edge to win it, but it’s a winnable fight for Spence too.
Bud being a slow starter favors Spence in the first half. Once Bud gets going the real question is how much punishment Spence can take because Bud will eventually put it on him. I will give Bud the edge but it's not a sure win for either guy.
Yeah I actually favour him against Kambosos, just think it’s a matchup that stylistically favours Haney. I see Haney edging it 7-5’ish, whether he’ll get a decision in Australia is another matter though.
Valid points made here my friend. I believe he wins a 7-5 type score but itll probably be more a 9-3 type fight. Haney is stylistically all wrong for Kambosos and likely gives him a true boxing lesson. As you said the cards probably wont show that kind of fight but that's how I see it playing out.
I mean in my opinion the fact she let her fun bags out should only help Pac in the polls. I cant imagine in any reality where bare boobs hurt anything ever
Providing the world didnt play out the way it did and Loma and Kambosos had fought I could see Hearn getting him a Maxi Hughes type fight to keep him in the ring but considering it worked the way it did I'm proud to see he is willing to do whatever to become undisputed. I believe he beats Kambosos honestly
Haney is clearly talented, not much pop, but he's quick and has a good reach.
Kambosos is a make or break fight for him, as far as his future goes. I think he wins a close fight, but Kambosos will really test him and put him out of his comfort zone.
I think he beats Kambosos and repeats it if he doesnt move up. His make or break moment comes when he fights Loma. If he could pull off that W then he turns into a phenom in boxing. The kid has a world of ability even though he has no pop. Boxing isnt all about power though and if he can find his place in the sport and stop worrying about the highlight reels he is a tough out IMO
It is, but is G-code enforced everywhere? I'm saying because I thought Jo-Jo is from California, he would have to check into a PC yard ; with all the trash.
I cant verify everywhere but in Tennessee you dont get away with such crap for sure. They will check your ass in after a brutal beating
My vote is Boots, but you should have included Rashidi Ellis.
My bad I couldn't remember them all and honestly I only named the ones I see as serious threats to the crown and a couple that could be but will probably fall short.
If Jared Anderson were more experienced he would be the guy to cause real problems for Fury but considering he is too far behind we will never know for sure if he could win
No option for Connor Benn? :lol1:
I'll add Benn in there somehow he slipped my mind LMAO I just think Eddie wont allow him to step up past a Broner or Khan fight anytime soon.
They both had equally good performances.
They dominated in different ways.
I didnt vote for this very reason. 2 totally different fights with similar results. The only fight to make now is Spence and Bud to see who is better.
Fundora might as well can negate that. The very few times Lubin did it he did well. Also he didn't hold as much but the worst thing Lubin was doing was keeping his head in the center. Those uppercuts just landed too easily.
Yeah and I'm not 1 for holding but he shouldve held more to break up the action and get some distance he may well have been able to alter Fundoras game plan if he did it enough
I believe Fundora wins by highlight reel ESPN top ten type knockout. I like Lubin he is really gifted but he gets hit and hurt near every fight. Rosario clipped him and couldve stopped him IMO. I think Fundora will be able to not only hurt him but finish the job. I could be wrong too though because Lubin is gifted and Fundora fights small. It's intriguing no matter what and I'm looking forward to it.
If he listens to his corner and steps around Fundura he might have a chance. If he sits in the middle like he did might as well don't even try to fight the guy. I think Lubin thought that his power would prevail and it didn't.
I'm not sure Fundora allowed him to follow the corners instructions. Fundora smothered him and constantly fired shots. It's not that easy to implement the plan when the other guy doesnt let you. That being said if Lubin trained for a full time fire fight and worked on stepping around that kind of pressure he would get better results. I'm just not sure he could manage to beat Fundora it's a bad style match up for him.
Really think about how long that is. 35 years without a lineal champion.
The question is who do you pick to win? I personally think Monster stops him this time around.
Mayweather schools him on the art of hit and not be hit. Ugas doesnt have any 1 thing that jumps out at you and Floyd had a whole tool box full of gifts.
I think it was a simple combination of things
1. Ring rust came into play with being out for 15 months
2. Tagoe was in survival mode and it's hard to land clean shots on a guy that just wants to survive
3. Garcia wasnt setting his shots up and expected the K.O. to just happen
Tagoe reminded me of Rigendoux in his constant running around and not really being any sort of offensive. These fights happen and I wont be too critical of Garcia until his next fight. Not basing it solely off that performance anyway.
It is annoying but also like anything else.
I see the same thing in republicans vs democrats, conservatives vs liberals, Sony vs Microsoft, Marvel vs DC, straight vs gay/LGBT, black vs white, religion vs religion, and so on.
The side you pick to defend, can’t do any wrong, and anyone that opposes a single opinion of yours is your enemy.
Boxing is so extreme with the gangs and factions though. It’s not only picking boxing promoters. That’s second to race/color in boxing lol.
I really enjoy the freedom of not giving a fck about race, skin color, geographic locations or promoters. I find it very amusing how in one post I am called out on hating Deontay Wilder and being a Tyson Fury fan, and in another thread I am called out for my supposed bias towards Wilder.
It goes to show how set boxing fans are in basically NOT debating anything and instead just pointing fingers at the other person in being from the other side. No one actually debates anything anymore. No one refutes with facts or well formed opinions.
Arguments between most people on any subject, not only boxing, consists of “Well, oh yeah? You’re talking bad about my favorite person? Look at what YOUR favorite person did doe!”
Nobody cares that that what the other person said could be true. They just care about picking on something bad about what they assume is who you cheerlead for. Conservatives and Liberals are notorious for this. But yes, so do boxing fans.
This is a very valid point I just cant understand having to pick one and all others are wrong. As a fan I dont give 2 shits what promotional company puts the show on as long as it's a decent show. I really dont even care who's fighting as long as it's a good fight. I am a fan of certain fighters but not to the point of all others are crap or enough to justify any ducking or dodging they may do against other top notch opponents. Case in point I'm a huge fan of Tank. His style and grit and ability is top notch to me but I dont know what the hell he doing. He should be a unified champ at 135 by now but he is just seeing dollars signs. That doesnt mean i can blame anyone other than him. It's his choice to sign a contract and that being said I'm still a fan because i like watching him fight. Good post brother!
I'll add another to that list, after Tagoe hit Ryan with a few left hooks, he got a bit more gunshy. I think it was even a similar hook that Campbell hit him with
I'll agree with that one the odd angles Tagoe did throw from what little he threw probably spooked Garcia a little bit
If we're going "p4p" it might be Crawford since he did start at 135, despite being huge for the weight.
That being said, I don't see Spence going almost 12 with Jose Benavidez. I think Spence would blister the versions of fighters that Bud fought. I believe Spence fought Porter to prove a point that he has a dog in him. Spence has a harder one-hit quitter too I believe, as shown in the Ocampo fight
Agree with this but I think Bud is more intent on hurting you when he hits you.
I believe we all were waiting around to see if Lubin would get the job done, lol. He's stopped guys like that in the same fashion but I assume Fundora is more of an animal than the other guys.
Some said Lubin wasn't following Cunningham's instructions...we must take that into account as well. Either way, he left it all in the ring.
Alot of people are talking about Lubin not following the corners direction but I credit Fundora for that. He didnt allow Lubin to breathe much less give him a chance to actually box. Fundora had a game plan and implemented his first and successfully. He deserves some credit for that and Lubin deserves credit for showing his heart and determination.
