Both guys like to control distance and have great timing. Crawford has the better legs and speed and Spence has the better power and work rate.
This could be a boring fight with both guys fighting for position unless Spence really gets the jab working.
Ward - What is he doing in there? Shakar, tell this fool he is behind on the cards.
Bomac - You need to end this.
Crawford - This is Shawn's retirement fight. I've known him and Kenny since I was 17 years old. I'm 6-0-6 kod. It's all good if we go 12 for this one.
Shakar - Bomac, Ward said y'all behind on the cards
Crawford - What y'all mean I'm behind?
20 secs Later - And Still undefeated, 2 times lineal, undisputed,
Felix Diaz (Olympic Gold Medalist, Undefeated (Peterson's Cards were a joke), Faster than Ugas, more talented than Ugas > Ugas.
Ugas - bloody and lumped as always in his tough fights
Diaz - is completely ruined.

My vote was for Spence. Porter gave Crawford a very hotly contested and highly competitive fight until he was stopped in their bout.
Spence performance was more dominant. He hardly lost a single round against Ugas. It was easily his best performance since the Mikey Garcia fight.
Porter didn’t beat Spence. Styles make fights. We cannot look at their common opponents as a measuring stick to determine who will win. Fans used to say the same thing regarding Mayweather/Pacquiao in terms of their common opponents, and looked how that fight turned out. Stylistically, Crawford has the edge to win it, but it’s a winnable fight for Spence too.
Bud being a slow starter favors Spence in the first half. Once Bud gets going the real question is how much punishment Spence can take because Bud will eventually put it on him. I will give Bud the edge but it's not a sure win for either guy.
They both had equally good performances.
They dominated in different ways.
I didnt vote for this very reason. 2 totally different fights with similar results. The only fight to make now is Spence and Bud to see who is better.
Lmfao. I didn’t realize that. But yeah Silence used to be Frankie2jabs , etc etc and is a known Dazn and canelo slurper who hates anything PBC related.
He picked Spence to lose because that would be “worse” for Haymon, which is pathetic. Then when Spence won he couldn’t just admit he was wrong.
and he still hasn't made a comment to defend himself after mathematically being proven a troll.
and he refuses to tell us what his score card was after 9 rounds. This is how you expose a bs troller. Mathematically, he would have had to only given spence 2 rounds at the most after 9 rounds for a Porter win being that he lost the last 3 and was knocked down in one of them. Then he uses Hazzard as an example of scoring when he scored Korobov vs charlo 11-1 in favor of charlo

I think crawford is very skilled and would give spence major problems. I don't think spence is going to go up to crawford and bully him around with body shots like he has been doing with other guys. Crawford will have a plan and counter for it. Crawford's only downfall is when he tries to proof himself to others by fighting guys at their own game. If crawford sticks to what he does best, spence is going to have a very hard time.
Close is reasonable. But there is no way Porter beat Spence.
It’s just sad that posters can’t just log in and say- l was wrong with my pick and then give the guy credit for winning instead of whining about fixes or bad refs or some other BS.

Spence Junior has been in bigger fights, and fought on bigger stages.
Going over to the UK, facing and beating Brook in a tough fight. Shows he is a big championship performer.
In basketball, what is it they call it? Clutch game. They both have a clutch game, but Spence Junior has shown greater feats in his clutch game.
People are over looking his performance vs Danny Garcia. I did not expect him to take on such a big fight, so soon after his accident 'That was a big performance'.
It is still a 50/50 fight for me, and I am still concerned over Spence Junior. If he finds himself in a complete war, will his body break down? Are there *****s in his Armour from his accident etc.
- - Craw won his first title in England.
Spence wif half his teef replaced couldn't hold his mouthpiece vs Danny or Ugas.
I pick Spence, but not by much and frankly, if Craw don't take 40% it ain't gonna happen, so what them odds?
Porter beat Spence though while Bud beat Shawn in a dominant way

Yeah... Speaking of... Did anyone hear what Derrick said about them before the fight.
idk if he was serious but he said something about Kenny only stopping the fight to show Shawn who boss. Then Shawn retired without telling Kenny because of it.
Yeah, I just saw that. I'm skeptical I guess. Shawn was already talking about not wanting to fight some of the up and comers because he didn't want to gatekeep.
Crawford knocked out the guy (Porter) Spence struggled to win a split decision over. Porter beat the guy Spence beat. Pretty obvious to anyone who isn’t a PBC fanboy who had the more impressive win.
I don't exaggerate anything and blame the ref. The fight was razor close and I scored for Porter. Go and take a look at posts after the fight. Good amount of fans scored for Porter. Just like they scored for Spence. You should learn to respect other opinions.
And as i said, he's going to ignore my statement like they always do and go into hiding. Mathematically, it's impossible for a Porter win in that fight if you didn't have him up at least 7-2 after 9 rounds. If you have him up 7-2 after 9, the best he could get was a 114-113 win. Larry Hazzard jr, an obvious corrupt judge, gave Jermall Charlo every round against Korobov except one in a fight he should have lost. and he gave porter 8 rounds. He's a complete joke. What was YOUR scorecard after 9 rounds?
We said arguably Ugas won the 3rd. Again, it's not just about power shots. That's all you care about. There are more dimensions to fight scoring.
We just saw Cody Crowley get nailed repeatedly as he kept walking forward throwing. Nobody would say that he lost just because he was eating clean power shots to the body. The bottom line is, Spence was a shell of himself until Round 7. Period point blank.
And again, go back and watch him against Ocampo. It's not close. He's clearly declined. The only difference here is he was more aggressive, and we think that's a mistake at this age and with the damage he's had. He can't do that, he's got to use the boxing skill we know he has in order to preserve himself in wars.
Watch him against O'campo and do what exactly?
Once again, Spence HAD to be more aggressive vs Ugas. You haven't answered how he was going to just jab Ugas on the outside like he did against Danny with his high guard defense?
That's okay if you feel like he has declined. Not going to argue that. To me? He's still elite and very good. I don't have a pick yet for the fight myself so I agree with you saying it is 50/50.
Porter sucks and played perfectly into Crawford's abilities. Not impressive at all. They only success Porter had was when Crawford was in Orthodox. As soon as he went southpaw it was all over.
Spence just ran over a boxer/counter puncher. Way more impressive. He showed he could muscle through and just dominate with impressive volume and punches he was sitting down on hard.
Crawford is is also a boxer counter puncher and I can see Spence running over him also. Sure Crawford will land some shots but Spence will just out pace and out land a Crawford. Crawford will breakdown in the later rounds and probably get stopped.
Another thing that comes into question about Crawford is times he has been hurt in his prime vs apparently “lesser” fighters/underdog like Gamboa and Kav. Coupled with his amateur woes, yes, it is a valid point to look at his entire boxing career holistically (am’s and pros).
It can be agreed upon by many fans, that Crawford hasn’t fought the best fighters he can throughout his career. 135-140, yes, he has fought some good fighters as I have listed. Credit to him for dominating Postol, Beltran, and Porter. But there just enough of that in his resume.
