Butaev -Stanionis...we have two undefeated top 10 guys ( by The Ring)
The winner will be a regular WBA champ and a legit contender for Spence - Ugas winner
Crowley - Josesito Lopez
Crowley is the new name, he is coming from the dominant win against Abdukakhorov, if he beats a tough gatekeeper Josesito Lopez, he is very close to get some big fight.
Ennis is no different. Who's Ennis fought in the Top 10?
Is other ranked fighters fighting unranked fighters a justification for the likes of Conor Benn to fight the same weak fighters?
Conor Benn is a ranked fighter, the bare minimum for him to be doing is fighting other Top 10 ranked guys. End of story.
Using Ennis' equally weak opposition to justify it doesn't work.
154 - Warriors
147 and 160 - Wankers
You need to be in a division where guys want to fight to get the fights.
Ask Andrade about 160 and GGG, Munguia, Big Charlo, Nasal Spray Saunders, Clenelo
I know the great Janibek. Since DAZN refused to pay for it, Andrade would have had to pay him out of pocket.
And not get a pay day after months of preparation?!? No, you get paid and you try to get your next fight going as soon as possible. It wasn't a good fight and it wasn't a good opponent but there is a difference between fighting a late replacement Van Heerden and spending a couple months hyping up a fight with Van Heerden who's a notch below Algieri and Granados especially if you're justification is 'but Ennis fought him'
Yeah because I'm sure missing that payday would be the end of him. No, it's called a postponement, Ennis would have gotten the money on a later date when the original opponent or a better opponent is ready
He fought Van Heerdan so Ennis must get the criticism for fighting him.
Doesn't matter. Ennis just could not have fought, until Dulorme was better. Once you agree to fight a fight, you take responsibility for that fight & who you are fighting.

True enough. I was just alluding to the fact that he’s never in a dull fight. He has fought a muderers row though! His heart his effing huge!
A thousand percent!!!!
He does, but that aint sayin much. Whens his last meaningful win vs a MEANINGFUL opp?

But you have to admit that Josesito always comes to fight. Can’t really think of a dull fight of his in the past 5-8 years

And yet not a peep when Vergil Ortiz fights bum after bum, smh. Getting real tired of the nationalistic bias coming from your ilk.
Vergil Ortiz is no different. Who’s Ortiz beaten in the Top 10?
You’re the second person to justify Benn’s shitty opposition with another fighters shitty oppositon. Why?
Bolded is the only one that matters. Lopez is way past it and long in the tooth.
But you have to admit that Josesito always comes to fight. Can’t really think of a dull fight of his in the past 5-8 years
Two Top 10 guys facing each other. Who'd have thought?
Conor Benn should take notes.
Instead he's fighting unranked Chris Van Heerden which one on is interested in at all.

I'm pointing out hypocrisy. If everyone is getting on Benn, they need to get on Ennis...end of.
Both have fought no one in the Top 10.
Both resumes are garbage for top 10 ranked guys.
So you are casual and you don`t even follow sport.
I don’t follow many non local boxers. Their are plenty of European boxers that are great but don’t get much air time in the states. I sort of lost a lot of interest in boxing due to all the BS.
Van Heerden was a late replacement opponent for Ennis though, it was supposed to be Dulorme but he had to pull out

Ennis also fought Van Heerdan, where is his heat for that fight?

Never heard of either. I looked them up and both men have an extensive pedigree. Both were amateur fighters. Unlike MOST of these Pro fighters that NEED to be babied and matched gently.
I look forward to seeing them.
conor is a young fighter learning his craft quit trying to throw him into fights when hes not ready yet, is a good job you arent a promoter
Not ready yet? A couple of months ago you created a thread titled “Conor Benn is a problem for the welterweight division”. Which is he? Not ready yet or a problem?
if you read up about the sport youd know that hearns lining an elite opponent up for him next, be patient for crying out loud
Oh yeah? Who's that going to be, Adrien Broner? Robert Guererro? Victor Oritz?
These are the "elite" fighters he's been talking about. He's already played down Avenesyan, an actual Top 10 fighter.
I call a spade a spade. You're in the Top 10? Fight someone in the Top 10. Not some unranked fighter like Van Heerden.
This used to be a basic thing. Now the sports been invested with clowns such as yourself it's now considered a rare thing.

Oh no, the poor boy has to fight someone in the Top 10. What a monumental ask for someone who's ranked in the Top 10 himself :lol1:
David Avenesyan is ranked #8, he wants to fight Conor Benn who is ranked #10. Yet you're actually saying he should fight unranked fighters instead. What a sad joke you are.
If Conor Benn can't beat David Avenesayan, he can forget about any world titles. That is the absolute obvious fight to make at this time in his career against a solid, world class guy but a very winnable fight.
Conor Benn doesn't seem to want to take that risk and clowns like you are happy to accept fights against the likes of unranked Van Heerdan.
Ennis also fought Van Heerdan, where is his heat for that fight?
