I'll be the unpopular one. Lineal doesn't exist in weight classes.
How can you be the man who beat the man when the man can move to a different weight class?
There's one lineal title. It's open weight, ie heavyweight.
Had no idea.
Always assumed Donaire would the Lineal at some point around 10 years ago considering he was so dominant at one point at those lower weights.
Interesting. You’d expect Inonue to dispose of the aging Donaire this time but Donaire always has the eraser.
Donaire has certainly faced much better competition since their first fight. He at least has that going for him. Inoue was fighting killers left and right before he signed with Top Rank, then he got the fringe contender (I think #9 or #10) Moloney and two bums.

I thought Valdez was removed from the Ring rankings?
He was removed from the TBRB rankings for several months but was reinstated last week. I am not sure about the Ring.

The question is who do you pick to win? I personally think Monster stops him this time around.
First fight was a stoppage in my eye. Ref stopped Inoue from finishing Donaire when he was hurt from the liver shot. That was weird.
Really think about how long that is. 35 years without a lineal champion.
