He got his Revenge. Spanked his a$$ the whole entire fight. Marg was never in the fight and never was gonna be. He got soundly beaten period. Say what u want about the eye but if Cotto didn't hit it, then His Eye would have been fine. Cotto said he was gonna Target, bust margs eye up and he did. You know u have kicked someone's a$$ when U tell them exactly what you are going to do to them and then do it.
Regardless of what the book says, are you saying you gave Judah 7 rds in that fight against Matthysse?
I'm saying Garcia beat Judah more convincingly. Yes I know triangle theories don't always add up, but it can still be a measuring stick. To me Garcia's resume is slightly better than lucas' and has performed better with a common opponent. with that said, This is as equal of a fight we can get and no where near a definite win for Lucas. If anything Gracia has the slight edge imo.
Who has Lucas Beat? Peterson, Who went Life and Death with Khan who Garcia KTFO! Peterson & Khan are equal competition wise to me. Garcia beat Judah, Lucas Lost to Judah. Don't see how Lucas is more proven at this point. Looks like a pretty even fight to me with Garcia having a slight edge.
the person weighing the scale probably said he was over because the nose was probably above the half way mark and almost touching the metal. Usually in weigh-in the nose could be above the half way mark or even above that. As long as it doesnt touch the top then its perfectly fine and considered on weight. If u listen closely, you can hear angel say its not touching and thats why the guy reading the scale was like alright, 140 lol.
This one took 11 seconds. The ref. didn't complete the count though, as the seconds stormed in.
Can you see the youtube link BTW? I can't. I feel like a noob.

he is puerto rican but he spent zero time there. this is the first time that he's going there and its to try and make money. cotto spent his entire life there. he didn't start going there to generate a fan base.
This is not the first time Danny has been to Puerto Rico... Also He's lived a puerto Rican Lifestyle. What does it matter where he lived it?
i know detroit is a ****ty place with an even ****tier educational system so I guess its not really your fault. but a comparison in this instance is when two or more situations are similar in nature.
Marquez, 135# fighter, called out Floyd, a 147# fighter.
Broner, a135# fighter called out Guerrero, a 147# fighter.
I know you will still fail to grasp the concept but thanks for keeping my thread at the top cupcakes.

The answer to your question is actually really simple. The Bigger name calls the shots. Mayweather was the bigger name, He gets to choose the weight. Broner is the bigger name, he gets to choose the weight. Thats how it has always been. the bigger name simply has more of a say.
Broner is the bigger name based on what?

More Buzz. Lets even say there name recognition is even, which i dont think they are. But then that means they can meet in the middle. It all has to do with who has more pull. that is the answer to ur question plain and simple and the reason why mayweather could pull that off.
I actually think Nonito Wins. He's just extremely mentally sharp. Also People think he is a lot smaller than he truly is. He is Just capable of getting down to the lower weights kind of how like paul williams was able to fight at 147. Nonito's technical skills, timing, and sharp shooting will overcome Gamboa's natural abilities. I think roach has got this all wrong. If anything it would be a close fight that I would love to see and I don't think nonito would have a problem with the weight. He might actually end up being bigger than Gamboa if he moves up.

I fight southpaw so I would use my jab a lot with my reach advantage to keep him at bay. Then when I jab him to the ropes I would feint to get him to throw his straight right, then counter with a right or a left then back off unless he was hurt. I would definately use a lot of feints. I would also feint with the right jab and then then throw a right hook to the body then a right upstairs, I would then know his counter is coming, dip that and throw the upper cut. in the clinch i would work the body then go upstairs with an uppercut. then go back to using my jab then repeat from the start except in a different order since after a couple times he would adapt. I would do all that but mix it up ever time.
"I managed to last until about 12, but in rounds 11 and 12 he came back and put it on me." - I hate to say it but it kinda sounds like McGregor Stopped Paulie...
I think you probably know more than anybody else does about yourself.
Oh yeah definately. But sometimes you would like to know why things are the way they are.
