When Errol first started talking, I thought something was wrong, but he sounded ok after that...and also sounded ok when I watched the interview a few more times. Of course he's still recovering and probably on medication, so he may not look as energetic as people may be hoping for. He's also a laid back type of person anyway. It's a good sign if he's already been working out and doing a lil roadwork, as he stated. Hopefully, his comeback is not rushed and he's fully healed upon his return to the ring. It remains to be seen if the accident will affect his performance in his future fights. We just all have to be patient and watch as it unfolds. One thing we know is that the boxing ring is the truth detector, and anything wrong cannot be hidden once in there against top competition.
I agree. The man is fine and I'm b
Glad to have him back.Good man; Me too! We don't agree on much but I second that sentiment. So this one's for you :beerchug:
If he is slurring his speech as many of you are claiming, then it's definitely not a result of brain damage or the loss of brain tissue because he has undergone extensive testing; Like MRI's and CT Scans and they all have come back negative. Therefore, his doctor's have medically cleared him to fight and resume his boxing career again.
I believe that many of you guys are just hating. Some of you are just wishing the worse on this kid and want to see him fail. However, he has the last laugh. After all he's been through he's still around and is about to enjoy the Christmas Holiday with his children, family and the ones he loves.
Now take that to the bank haters!
That’s what he sounds like isn’t it?
From what I remember in all the interviews and promos surrounding the Brook fight.
Maybe you need to be familiar with the accents - I don’t know? To a Brit he just sounds like sounds like hillbilly.
Amir Khan is punchy. That’s the only one I say with confidence. Obviously seeing him in interviews and stuff for like 15 years now
What in 1 interview? You dont think those were the 1st words hes spoken since his accident do you?
He was probably nervous since it was his first interview since the accident.
He is better than ok, just as a normal person.
But as a professional boxer 'This is a different ball game'. If he could not remember much about the accident, that is crystal clear evidence that he took a heavy blow to the head, and in my opinion he should just use next year to recover.
But I feel that he is under pressure to keep his titles, and fight quickly. If I was his manager, I would not care about the belts 'Just train for a year, and take afew 4-6 round very easy fights' and live his life.
Did you listen to him ?Yes, as a matter of fact I did. Here's the video. I am just going on my recollection of the interivew. However, here's the actual video below:
The longer he talked the better he sounded, he needs to get used to whatever happened to his mouth.

He was tipsy for that interview, not completely wasted.
It’s a step?
He would be the dumbest fugh on earth to be seen drinking on his first day out
That would be like a child skipping school on the first fughin day
He was always a slow speaker, but something seems off with him. I have to wonder if he is really ready to come back in May. Especially without a tune-up. I get the feeling he might be looking for one last big payday and then hang it up.
Not sure if that’s the plan or not but it crossed my mind when he said he wants the big boys of the division right off the bat
Said to myself he looking for a last hurrah and cash out or what
He sounded fine. Probably still has some effects from the accident but he's heavy due to not working out since the fight and has that southern Texas accent.
Yeah looks like a Middleweight.
