Oh my lord. I just listened to part of it. He just with 100% sincerity said he would like to see Mundine fight Mayweather. Most people are joking when they say that, but he meant it.
Seriously? Jesus :lol1: :lol1:
Dwyer bet big money on Mundine. Not trolling check his youtube.

Clottey can bang :boxing:
Pacquiao can bang too. Remember: "Bang, bang, bang. Bang! Try and stop him! Bang! Bang! Here I come! Bang! Bang! Bang, bang, bang, bang!"
But in all seriousness, I wonder what he thinks of Marquez's power. I think we all know the single hardest punch Pacquiao was hit with.
I wouldn't mind seeing a motivated Clottey on my TV screen. Get him a decent opponent on ESPN so he can get his name buzzing again. FrankieClutch mentioned Kirkland earlier, that would be a great match-up.
Clottey deserves huge respect for this. Most would really let the inactivity ruin their careers. He obviously takes boxing seriously and came back furiously. That was a proper ass-kicking.
Mundine is a 3rd rate boxer who drained himself for years so he wouldnt have to fight bigger men.
No disrespect to Clottey but lets not get carried away.
No, he didn't. People wrongly inferred it. He said he was meant lose that day in the destiny/God has a plan/it was predetermined by the universe type of way.
He also claimed the Bradley fight was fixed.
"As far as I know the fight wasn’t real because to my best of knowledge Pacquiao will quit professional boxing in next year so that the promoters could get much money from the bout before Pacman retires’ he told Asempa sports".

-Implied to African interviews that he was pressured to throw the fight

Clottey has always been a very good fighter, but he made a huge mess of his career during and after the Pacquiao fight.
-Implied to African interviews that he was pressured to throw the fight, word of it spread quick. I'm sure that didn't earn him any favors with Top Rank.
-Got injured and pulled out of his comeback fight.
-Seemed content to sit on the shelf (he'd just made a ****load of money) and wait for his contract with Top Rank to end.
-By the time he came looking for a fight, he was high risk and low reward. Guys need to keep fighting to stay relevant. No one wanted to take the risk, Mundine didn't get the memo.

No. What is this like 4 fights in 5 years? Honestly, Clottey isnt going to make any noise @ 154. Just a name. Feed him to Kirkland or Angulo.
IDK. You cant tell everything from highlights but he looked pretty good. Then there are a few occasions when great fighters do some amazing things. SRL coming off a 5 year retirement to beat Hagler and Floyd himself seems like he only had like 4 fights in 5 years for awhile.......lol
