Non-general admission seats for Garcia-Herrera look close to sold out. As for GA tickets, looks like at least 4,500 seats still available.
Tickets selling fast, huh Schaeffer?
Did anybody actually go to the fight in person? Give a prerspective on the atmosphere
The place was pack. A lot of people bought into the hype that he is rican. But most were upset with the showing and he definitely did not win fans over.
I was there and I honestly didn't see one seat open and I was really looking. The atmosphere was electric. The fans cheered hard for Garcia every time he through a combo. It was unfortunate Danny couldn't give the people a better performance.

Are you a photographer or did you just get really good seats?

'Native' Americans aren't "native" to the Americas either. They migrated there, across the Bering strait.
And why do you cling so tightly to the Spanish (European) language?
They are native because before them, there were no humans living here. At least there's no archaeological evidence of people before them so that would make them "native" to the Americas.
People in Latin America cling to Spanish because it's the language that forced upon us. What else are we going to speak? Even though many other languages are spoken in many parts of Latin America that are indigenous to that area.
He is very proud! Also very proud of being of Puerto Rican ancestry.
You can't blame GB for this. It's clear they're trying captivate thirsty PR fans and the Garcia camp is obviously all for it. I'd do the same shit if I were in either shoes. Let's just for a decent scrap which should be all that matters. War Danny.
This is Danny's first time fighting on the island. I'll bet anything that, if he continues to win, his next visit will be met with much more enthusiasm. But I doubt he'll ever win over the people to the point where they'd cheer him on over a native son. It's just the way people are, not just Puerto Ricans.
If I'm not mistaken, it was like that with oscar.
Garcia was born in the USA, Garcia has lived there all his life, Garica only speaks english and Garcia supposedly 'bangs hard' for Philly. Garcia and GBP are on some weird marketing campaign to try and get PRs to part with their hard earned cash and it makes me sick.
Buy into this farce if you want. . . Born in the USA, yes! Just like the majority of Puerto Ricans who cheer their asses off for Cotto when he fights here in the USA. Has lived in the Puerto Rican section of Philly his whole life. Speaks spanish, very poor spanish, I'll admit. Still tries to speak it though. Bangs hard for Philly as he should. This GB trying to market a Puerto Rican from Philly in Puerto Rico. Is that so horrible???

I know it's not just us but considering that times are hard for pr boxing right now, they should get behind DSG even more!
