Garcia always gets underrated in the big fights for some reason
I consider Danny Garcia to be very underrated and under appreciated. Having said that he’s in hell from a styles perspective and from a skills perspective with Crawford. Bud is all wrong for him.
Garcia is an excellent counter puncher with good timing and is a well schooled fighter so he may win the odd round but lose wide.
... Danny is a solid mid-range hooker with a poor jab and a poor head movement...
Crawford would make Garcia look like a B level fighter.
Garcia is slightly above average at best, while Crawford is a special talent.
This. Garcia aint that special. Spence and Crawford both beat him easily.
I dont think Garcia beats brooks or Porter either.

Styles make fights
Danny Garcia has relatively slow feet, but he's hair-trigger on the counter and, while everyone seemingly wasn't paying attention, has been able to develop a nice basket of skills to go with that monster no-look hook to the jaw. You add that his chin has held up at the weight, after never wavering at 140lbs, and you're writing Danny off at your own risk.
As big as the talk has gotten about Terence Crawford, the Horn fight wasn't the best look for him (odd saying that when he did win 9-0); Horn was able to land clean, Horn was able to land inside of Crawford's combinations, and Horn only really started to fall apart from Crawford's punches late (Horn having clear issues with making the weight didn't help).
Would love to see the odds for the fight, because I'd bet on Danny Garcia if Crawford was favored by more than 2:1.
Crawford would win comfortably BUT he's got to pay attention to that nasty left hook, that's Garcia's only real shot to win this fight.
That's all Garcia has and Crawford would be well aware of that prior to entering the ring. Once in the ring, he'd have Garcia "mapped out" in under 2 rds...easy work.
I don't think he knocks Danny out but I think Crawford would get the decision.
He'd KO Garcia cold in 5-6 rds. Garcia is a manufactured champ...has some skills but fought bums/antique boxers and cheated to beat Matthysse.
In this match up, you've got counter puncher vs counter puncher. One thing is for sure Terence Crawford won't stick around or stand in the pocket long enough to get hit by or taste any of Danny's punches and Danny is not the kind guy to chase an opponent around the ring either. So the likely scenario will play out similarly to this: Bud Crawford circles off the back foot, potshots and picks his shots very deliberately and cautiously to a unanimous victory.
