1 and 2 - feel out rounds, I slid 1 to GGG and 2 to Canelo. 1-1 after 2 seems to be the only score 3-4-5 - clear Canelo rounds. Not a beatdown just closely but clearly winning the boxing and distance battle. Canelo looks fresh and GGG stiff 6 - close round, GGG landed the better shots so slid it to him 7 - clear Canelo round again, negating any GGG momentum 8- was a Canelo round, but GGG closed it extremely well, close round that I'll slide to GGG with the finish. GGG starting to settle in and Canelo not able to move as effectively/slowing down After 8 rounds- you have 4 clear rounds for Canelo, 4 pretty close rounds. Could see 3-1 GGG in those but 2-2 is very fair as well. I have it 5-3 but could see 6-2 just as easily. 9 - Canelo round. He's slowing down but still lands some big shots, as does GGG. Looks more like a GGG round pace wise and aggression wise, but I have Canelo landing the bigger shots. 6-3 Canelo 10 - Canelo finished it well but still GGG's round I'd say. GGG looks better and fresher in round 10 than he did early in the fight. 6-4 or 7-3 Canelo 11 - GGG's best round of the fight. Clear round. He looks fresher here than he has all night 7-4 or 6-5 12 - 12th rounds are generally like this - high energy with high output and very close. I slid it to Canelo. 8-4 or 7-5. I think 7-5 Canelo probably the best score. Judges did a pretty good job in this one.

You had a pretty high level chess match between two top guys tonight. It was a complete tactical chess match the first half of the fight. The latter half, Canelo gassed a bit and GGG used his stamina edge to take most of those rounds, as was surely his gameplan. Canelo's gameplan was to start quickly as the younger, fresher man and try and pick up the early rounds. Tonight you had two high level guys actually BOXING for most of the fight, and many on here are saying the fight was terrible. GGG boxed smartly the first half of the fight and people say he looked old and slow lol. He fought smartly and those rounds were not blowouts at all. Canelo executed his gameplan well, but it did cause him to gas, as expected. Too many emotional people on here to have much real boxing analysis going on.

Sad night for boxing. These guys gotta step it up and impress this man.

and don't give GGG credit for a lot of his punches (mainly his jab) that do land. Probably best way to sum it up. It's the same trend in every GGG and Canelo fight really. Not just with each other but against others as well.

It's like he has to land 30 hard punches and only take 2 jabs and people will score it an even round It's a shame people got so caught up in the emotions with him, on both sides, and have no idea to even score what they are seeing.

Fighting in another guy's backyard, a guy who is incredibly mentally tough and is just a natural tough, rugged, smart fighter. For Haney to win this, he would need to be the type of talent that we've seen with Crawford, Spence etc. And I just don't see that at all with him. He is not that level. I see him getting beat pretty handily and maybe even stopped late, especially if the crowd is crazy and he or his corner panics at all. He's only 23, fighting away from home, dad/trainer isn't even there. I just see this going all wrong for Haney. ------------ What's everyone's predictions? Of how your scorecard will be, not the official cards. I see a couple feel out rounds where Kambosos feels what Haney has power wise, and then I think George just swarms him and ends up winning rounds quite easily, with a late stoppage possible. Something like Culcay-Andrade except Andrade presents more of a challenge than Haney imo.

From the AJ fans, to the Canelo fans, they just end up using these forums as a means of therapy, trying to cope with the (in their minds) devastating loss of their hero. I guess that is the punishment for being a superfan - they annoy us boxing fans, with their bias and their irrationality, and with their inability to just call it how it is. When their hero is finally (sometimes it never quite happens) clearly beat, they basically suffer a breakdown with the damage it does to their pysche. Don't be a superfan kids - be a boxing fan. :boxing:

If you are going to fix the fight, why would they leave it one round short of a result for Canelo? You give Canelo the first 4 rounds on each card, and none of them could find 2 of the remaining 8 to slide his way as well? Obviously Bivol deserved the win, I just can't understand why the judges did a halfway fix. It's like they got new instructions after round 4 and decided to not fix the fight. Weirdest scoring I've ever seen in a big fight honestly. All 3 judges with the same exact cards too.

He missed almost 550 punches, Canelo only missed about 400 punches. I've seen Canelo fans say that was a big part of how you score fights? Canelo robbed, no surprise. Had to expect the Russian to get all the close rounds.

And he still has to edge out a 7-5 win on all 3 judges' cards. Bivoi basically threaded the needle tonight. Yet people will still cite the judges' cards in most of Canelo's fights as though they are evidence of a true score lol.

Let me ask all of those guys something - do you have a very similar opinion of Spence as a boxer compared to guys like Beterbiev or GGG? If not, then you have your answer of why certain people support certain fighters, and you guys are part of the problem you're complaining about. All 3 of those guys have had very similar amateur successes (Spence being the least successful of the 3), very similar pro successes (mostly dominant wins at 1 weight class), and very similar styles in the ring (relentless, big punching, hard working, pressure fighters with good fundamentals, easy enough to hit, but hard to hurt), and similar styles outside the ring (head down, not too much into the limelight). And the one of the 3 with the most baggage on a personal level is Spence, with the drunk driving stuff and that crash. So I could understand how people were turned off from him from that. I certainly was. It even affected how I viewed him as a fighter, he seemed like he was letting himself go. I even went from having him top 3-5 pfp and as a clear winner over Bud, to picking Crawford over him h2h in a span of about a year. Absolutely ridiculous to see so many of the biggest haters on here, playing the victim and complaining about why people don't like Spence as a fighter. Yet they aren't fans at all of guys like AB and GGG who are very similar fighters...hmmm I wonder why. Stop the pity party, or drop the bias yourselves. No one wants to read that sh.it.

, or how it translates that negatively for a Canelo-GGG 3rd fight. Murata pushed a fast pace vs GGG, one that Canelo likely won't push, or won't want to fight at. Derevy took notes from Canelo in fight 2, and tried to push GGG back, and did so with great workrate. Murata tried to do the same. But he wasn't able to do as much damage to GGG, and he wasn't able to take GGG's shots as well as Derevy. Canelo wasn't able to push the pace that Derevy set, and for me that is why Derevy did better vs GGG than Canelo in either fight. Pushing pace vs a volume puncher who lands hard and clean with most of his shots like GGG, who has a great workrate and stamina himself, is extremely dangerous. Canelo knows that and will likely not fight that way. GGG still probably outlanded Murata in every round, and besides rounds 2 and 3, which were close, I didn't see Murata having a real claim to any other round.

only THREW 206 shots vs BJS, and threw 361 vs Plant. The work rate between the 2 fighters is vastly different. Makes a 3rd fight hard to predict, even still. If GGG can dictate the pace he still has a realistic shot of winning (a 3rd time). Odds are, Canelo will look good early, and might be up 3-1 or so. But if he can't really hurt GGG in that timeframe, the last 8 rounds will probably favor GGG. His stamina and workrate are just well above Canelo's, even at 40 years old.

They both used the same formula. Always fight at home, against hand-picked opponents who you know you can go 12 rounds against, worst case. Often times the opponent was faded as well. So AJ fights at home his whole career, against handpicked, old, close to 40 year old, fringe top 10 opponents, with his own refs and judges. What exactly is there to really respect, from what I described? And let's not BS, what I described is exactly how he built his career.

I like both fighters. I think each guy could give most guys around 160-168 trouble depending on the night and the matchup. But Andrade's 7 fights at MW are Walter, Liam Williams, Sulecki, Fox, Quigley, Akavov, and Keeler lol. It's hard to list these guys with a straight face and then try and make a claim that the guy is really trying to take tough fights. I give credit for Sulecki (at the time he had the close fight with Jacobs, and Andrade dominated the fight), but that's honestly about it. Pretty fuc.king weak man. Charlo's 7 at MW are much the same - Derevy, Montiel, Heiland, Hogan, Adams, Centeno, and Korobov. I mean it's comical again to list those guys and act like he wants all the smoke. I give credit for Derevy, and a little for Korobov (short notice), but that's about it. Not to mention!!! That Charlo and Andrade have been in the same weight class for damn near a decade and haven't even managed to fight yet!!! lol If you want to make the statement that guys aren't exactly lining up to fight them either, that is fair and you could certainly make a good argument for that. But it is more obvious that neither guy is trying to do anything at all apart from take the easiest fight they can get away with, and wait for some super payday with Canelo (if Al allows it).

I just want to see what percentage of fans on here leave their biases aside, and can keep it real. How you scored these two fights is a good litmus test for whether or not you have any business scoring fights/being taken seriously on your scoring.

Virtually everyone agrees that GGG won the first fight. The 2nd fight, I scored very similar to the first. GGG just outworked Canelo similarly to the first fight. He was too active. The scorecards in the 2nd fight, were enough to BARELY give Canelo a win. One round different on either of the 7-5 Canelo cards, and you have a draw. We all know Canelo gets great cards in his fights, with the Vegas judging. Basically, someone saying that GGG won both fights is (not only obvious imo) but very reasonable. But if you make that comment that GGG won both cleanly, you have all these crybaby Canelo fans coming at you like you just ran through their neighborhood yelling something about their fat mom or something.

Teo-Kambo was a great fight. Kambo fought the fight of his life, or he is the real deal. Props to him for having a great night, great gameplan, and being tough as hell. Not many guys could do what he did tonight. Teo came up short. It happens to the best of them. Not sure why people feel the need to take little shots at a guy after a fight. Now his comments about winning 10-2, that was crazy. He deserves a little sh.it for that. But why all the over the top hate and emotional sh.it. Sounds like a bunch of women on here.

It's obvious Crawford is a special fighter, yet you have dumbass fans on here who try and take some shots at him. And they had no real understanding of what was going on in the fight with Porter tonight. People should appreciate special talents like Bud. If you don't understand the game, just shut up and don't analyze anything. Note to all Canelo superfans - you are welcome to come cry in this thread though. I want those tears.

I mean, that's bullsh.it lol. And did the WBC really create a new division, Bridgerweight, just for Canelo? So that they could lower the CW limit, and have Canelo pick off a belt there by offering a current champ a big payday in exchange for draining himself 10 more pounds than usual? If this fight really is at 190, it's a stain on Canelo's legacy, not a boon. It will be another big example of the weight tricks that he has used in his career. Instead he has the opportunity to parlay his recent success at 168, which came with no apparent weight tricks, and continue to at least fight guys on relatively even terms. No one should be touting this fight as legit if it is really at 190.

I don't know if this is consistent with boxing fans in general, or if it is just this site. But nearly every person I see post on here is a complete idiot. Some of the comments you see, you wonder how some guys get through the day to day stuff in life. Boxers shouldn't care at all about what fans think. Fans are clearly dumb as fu.ck. Just make money and have fun and leave it at that.

In his early fights, I could see what the fuss was about. He boxed very fluidly for a guy his size and build, vs Whyte for example. What changed? Vs Ruiz even in the first fight, he fought like a body builder who just took up boxing. Similar rather poor form vs Usyk. I can understand being cautious going forward after Wlad cracked his chin, but he looks like he is a novice now in many ways. His jab vs Usyk was particularly pathetic at times.

When (and how) he lost to Ruiz, you would think the sensible answer from anyone who knows boxing would be - 'OK, this guy isn't really that good. A really good fighter would never lose to Andy Ruiz, especially the way AJ lost that fight' Instead, people talk about how that win makes Andy Ruiz great lol. When Callum Smith lost (in reality) to John Ryder - the sensible people all said 'OK, Smith isn't that good. Ryder is also better than advertised' It's fair to give Ruiz some credit, but the main thing that fight told us, is that AJ is just not the guy. Some great guys in history have had bad/embarrassing losses; but overall their resumes are much better than AJ's as far as good wins. AJ fights everything at home, and he has 2 wins over good fighters in their relative prime - Parker and Whyte. And Whyte is not that good, and Parker went 12 rounds with him and if that fight wasn't at home, who knows how the ref would have let them fight. ------ Why are AJ fans so dumb and why do they worship a guy who isn't that good? Like if you back a horse that doesn't have the goods, fine, just pick someone else. Don't double down on a guy who just doesn't have it.
