what you describe in this thread is what literally every top guy at or near Canelo’s weight class has been doing for the last few years. It seems Charlo is the only one who gets really criticized for it. Andrade is literally avoided by everyone with a name. his own network will not match him up in a unification fight. I don’t see how he can be blamed for that. Not saying it’s right. I just don’t think of everyone is doing it, only 1 or 2 guys should be singled out. Charles threw hands. that’s it.

The thing is, I don't even know if they want Canelo still. That fight looks like a sure loss for them now. I think they both know they probably lose. Canelo would work the body, be the aggressor and win a UD and I think they know that. So you’re probably right, they probably don’t want it. Charlo I feel for sure isn’t tripping if he never gets it. Making really good money fighting dudes like Montiel.

Seems like a specific common comment I see on this forum - and as mentioned a few people have liked that comment as well, so that is at least a few votes for that viewpoint - and in general it is your typical 100% race based comment that doesn't hold up to scrutiny at all. Charlo has just beat Deryev who ggg robbed. I respond to dumbass comments on here all the time. It just so happens that a lot of them are about GGG. At nearly 40, he is nearly irrelevant in boxing at this time. Especially with his recent activity level, which is due in some part to covid issues. However, saying that those 2 guys really were trying to fight someone like GGG, would be like me saying that GGG was knocking down their doors to fight him now as well. It is clearly not the case. And if someone made that comment, it should get called out. For the record, GGG's last 7 are Canelo twice, Jacobs, Derevy, Kamil, Rolls, and Vanes. There is no comparison at all as far as the quality of who GGG has been fighting lately compared to those 2 guys. It’s impossible to take them seriously when they continue to fight B level opponents and no-hopers and then expect a shot at Canelo or GGG. Supposedly Charlo was offered $12 million for a Canelo fight and turned it down. How does he think he is worth more than that when he has never headlined a PPV fight outside the of the one he co-featured with his brother, and that one flopped! It is odd to see anyone saying they want tough fights, with that resume at MW so far, and the fact that they've been in the same weight class for damn near a decade and haven't even TRIED to fight each other yet. And with Charlo apparently turning down that Canelo fight, I honestly have no idea if he even wants a big fight for a payday. Seems like it's more about protecting the 0 at all costs.

As usual you want to defend ggg so you claim Andrade/Charlo are not worthy/not serious about fighting him,even though gg has been fighting worse bums for several yrs & even wastes yrs of his career waiting for those bums.
