It's obvious Crawford is a special fighter, yet you have dumbass fans on here who try and take some shots at him. And they had no real understanding of what was going on in the fight with Porter tonight.
People should appreciate special talents like Bud. If you don't understand the game, just shut up and don't analyze anything.
Note to all Canelo superfans - you are welcome to come cry in this thread though. I want those tears.
That guy you quoted accused me of being someone else. So I wasn't sure if you were referring to that guy or me when you responded to him.
No issues. That douche bag is the alt of the banned poster Rick Taylor.
There is nothing to brag about. You are have shown the inability to explain the abilities Terence Crawford has and what makes him 'special'. I asked a couple of times, got one answer which explained nothing, and the rest has been insults.
So again, you explain or ignore, very simple, and if you can't explain it, thats a personal problem
I already did man, lol. If you didn't like my answer, oh well. Have a good night friend
My problem with crawford is that he didn't mind fighting bs mandatories under Arum as the other wws fought each other. My problem with thurman is that he's a bitchazz coward always ducking the hard fights and tried to cherry pick a 40 year old manny that backfired lol. My problem with Spence is that he's ducking Crawford. Now we got some young guys in the division calling both of them out and they are acting like these guys don't exist. I'm not saying Ennis or Ortiz would beat Crawford or Spence, but if I would personally fight a young up and coming guy before he reaches his peak and becomes a problem. Tito did it with Reid and Vargas and was at the point of facing a ko until he hit them in the balls to get time for recovery. I give Crawford his props for the fight last night, but I hope he doesn't spend the next 2 years fighting mandatories and hopeless contenders. As far as spence, I feel he's done. I saw nothing in that Garcia fight and I believe he knows he's not a 100% anymore and that's why he's avoiding crawford.
I feel for Crawford because what could he do? I don't mind a guy settling into a new weight class anyway and taking a few fights to get adjusted; and who could Bud have really fought? He was on the wrong side of the street, and I don't think PBC was too keen to have him join the club. They didn't really need him and if he beat their whole roster it would have been a disaster really.
Everything else, I pretty much agree with. I used to be 75-25 on Spence vs Crawford. Now I am about the other way around. I like Ennis a lot and Ortiz looks good too. In these days the only way to get them a shot though is through the mando route. Too much risk and not enough reward to fight them.
In this case I would love them to both get a mando shot around the same time. Ennis-Spence and Ortiz-Crawford would be ideal right now imo, but maybe those 2 guys aren't ready yet.
I hate the boxing politics too, but some of the time the fighter is as innocent as the fans. I don't see what else Crawford could have done lately. And like he said, the guys he beat, he beat in similar fashion to Porter. He doesn't think he was fighting bums before this and I agree with him. It does suck when you have guys in certain weight classes and the top 5 hardly ever fight. 160, 154, 147 were all like that recently, or currently.
I, and another guy, already did. If you really have to ask what makes him special, you aren't paying attention.
And if you don't get it once a couple people explain it to you, then that's a personal problem bud. You shouldn't really brag about it.

I have never liked the tone of most towards Crawford on here. Canelo fans never liked him because he rivals Canelo on the pfp list. And the all the PBC fans Xed him out because he wasn't with them.
It's just a shame we have only a small percentage of fans on here who are actual boxing fans. Most are just interested in some personal agendas.
- -U don't appear to know what U watching.
Craw fan here, but he has an ugly persona and style as compared to smooth Spence. Spence is his p4p rival, not Canelo.
Y U no what U be watching?

It's obvious who's ducking who when one of the ran out the arena after Porter was stopped ,don't understand why nobody is commenting on that fact
Spence b lined for an exit so he couldn't get called out and embarassed in the ring
Once again, I"m not a spence fan and I don't like the fact he's not entertaining fighting Crawford. He seems afraid. I don't know why you're stating that like I'm gonna disagree with you and defend Spence. I'm the wrong person for that argument..
Canelo fans take needless shots at fighters like Crawford, who rival Canelo for pfp supremacy. I didn't start that fight, just pointing it out.
If they didn't know he was a true threat to pfp supremacy they wouldn't say anything. Canelo has everyone and everything on his side, money, fans, judge, media, networks. when people say Bud is #1 p4p they are speaking 100% big facts, otherwise they'd support Canelo. And they also have to worry about Canelo's racist fans sending them all sorts of threats if they ever say anything good about Bud, this is why so many fighters stopped criticizing Canelo when his crazy racist fans threatened these fighters and their families. Thank god Benavidez isn't afraid.

It baffles me man. He’s clearly proved all the doubters wrong after last night. All that’s left now are haters.

Did I quote you?

Not sure what makes the shots at Canelo necessary, given that he's also an incredible talent. It's not like there's any real chance the two fight.
Otherwise I agree, Crawford keeps showing time and again that there's basically nothing he can't handle. He's had trouble with different styles of opponents in many of his fights to varying degrees, but the one constant is that he always finds a way to figure out and ultimately pick the other guy apart in the end, in a way that usually ends with the other guy stopped. I can't help but always be impressed with the way he throws these really wide, slashing hooks but always seems to land them exactly on the mark.
I really don't anticipate him getting beaten any time soon, unless he ends up in there with some monster puncher who catches him cold early goings and puts him out then and there. But I don't know who there is with the necessary power and also the necessary skill and guile to land that kind of punch at WW right now.

I just did you dumbass, as did another guy. If it was so easy to quantify, it would that easy to replicate. If you don't see it, keep watching. You eventually may learn how boxing works. As of now, you're a bit of a novice.

nothing lucky about it. he won the fight. Once again, I'm not a fan of anyone at 147. I've made this clear all year on the site. Use the search function. I respect Porter for taking the hard fights, but from 135 and up, I don't **** with these fighters and all of this cherry picking, A-side, catchweight bullschit. 115 are my guys. They actually fight each other and don't care about an undefeated record. so you can shut yo bich azz up

No doubt Porter had moments of good work, fights are 12 rounds if you watch the corner in the last round as bud came out it looked to me like they told him your behind and he shook his head in disbelief turned and focused tunnel vision, then hunted him down and stopped him, I think Kenny Porter seen that next level come out and didn't want Shawn put to sleep.
TC is a hell of a fighter, he has a vulnerability that lets fighters into the match then he turns up the heat another notch and gets them outa there.
But that's the problem. What happens when he's in there with a puncher like Ortiz? Or someone who can switch and make the proper adjustments like Ennis? Or someone who applies relentless pressure with a great jab and elite inside fighting like Spence? I honestly don't know who's the best Welterweight right now because they're not fighting each other.
