What changed? Vs Ruiz even in the first fight, he fought like a body builder who just took up boxing. Similar rather poor form vs Usyk.
I can understand being cautious going forward after Wlad cracked his chin, but he looks like he is a novice now in many ways. His jab vs Usyk was particularly pathetic at times.
It’s easier to look fluid when you are in control. Frankly, fighters like Joshua and Wlad, who are not natural fighters need to fight to a script and dictate the action or lack of action. Jab and grab was Wlad’s go to. Joshua doesn’t have a go to so he’s out there improvising and he’s not good at it.
