He looked much better earlier in his career, probably because of the lack of competition. I think he saw that his KO's were getting him recognition and he stopped working the other aspects of his game, specifically footwork. I was watching his fight with Eloy Perez and i was actually surprised at how well he was using his angles. After that fight his footwork got worse and worse with each progressing fight.
He was unstoppable against Antonio Demarco.
True, but imo after that fight his whole mindset change. He started looking for the KO instead of setting it up.
Honestly, i don't see any way he can beat Canelo right now. They both fight best at mid range, and i think Canelo is better there. Also, we've yet to see Spence's chin get tested by a good puncher. Canelo by decision or late TKO.

WHAT IF, pacquiao is the real patient one, holding back his ko potential to bait mayweather in.
ok joking :) no karmas pls.
I don't think Pacquiao would hold back against 2 opponents he has grudges against in JMM and Tim Bradley, he just couldn't knock them out. That would be foolish
I don't see how well that would go. For pacquiao , Floyd would have to drop 2 weight classes and Manny would most likely have to jump up a weight class. That doesn't sound appealing
Damn, Lara got a great deal. I'm surprised he's making that much.
I was thinking the same thing, they could've lowballed him if they wanted to. I wonder why they gave him that much.
He has the talent and physical gifts but his mind is still stuck in the amateurs. Roger or Sr would fit him well. He should throw more punches, vary his attack and he seems to be content with his opponents letting off six punch combinations on his body. That's no good.
I thought it was cool, but they arent movie stars. They're boxers, instead of showing them walking on some red carpet they shouldve shown one KO of each person, what else is gonna attract casual fans?
I asked this question a few pages back - does Haymon have the rights to that footage?
It normally belongs to the promoter, which would mean it's all Oscar's.
Good Point.
No, it fits perfectly in his pattern. He feels the time is right for him to fight Manny, it's safe now so to speak, rather than when the time was really right for everyone else.
You don't get credit for doing what you're supposed to do only five years later.
Floyd is older and has physically declined just as much as pac, if not more.
Mayweather gets the edge for me because he won every round up to a stoppage win. As for Rigo he was put down against Nonito on his way to a decision win. They're both great wins though.
