Up to now I was pretty confident that GGG puts dorito brains into a coma, but after Saturday night ,I came to a realization...this dude just keeps getting bigger and fatter! While I'm still confident that golovkin beats him by a unanimous decision, and probably gives him brain damage along the way,I'm not 100% sure he'd be able to finish him,due to the sheer size difference. What do you guys think?
It was pathetic how Golovkin was begging for a Chavez Jr. fight, :lol1:. But if you mention Andre Ward he all of a sudden doesn't speak English,.
Ward also wanted to face Chavez, everyone does because he's an easy mark.

like misspelling names has anything to do with resumes :lol1: FONFARA (:fu2:) Current or former world champions : 4w-1L
W:Byron Mitchell, Glen Johnson, Gabriel Campillo, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
L: Adonis Stevenson
Gennady Golovkin current or former world champions 2w-0L
W: Kassim Ouma, Daniel Geale
Ain't boxrec bad ass? :boxing:
Thanks for making the argument for me. Fonfara's only ever beaten washed up fighters.
Based on their current KO ratios, I'm inferring that GGG can fight Chavez @168 and stop him, even though he'll be the smaller guy. Whether he stops Chavez will come down to his stamina and offensive efficiency, not his power imo. Size is only one component of power, so that's why I'm not sure if Fonfara punches harder than 3G. I brought up their respective KO ratios to show the possibility of GGG moving up while retaining most of his power. If Chavez can get stopped by a LHW with KO59%, then maybe he could get stopped by a MW with KO90%.
165-170lb GGG vs. 185-190lb Fonfara, who punches harder? We'll get a good idea of this if GGG/Chavez ever happens.
I know what you meant. And this is what I was referring to the whole time
Jr is a LHW, and not a good one. And yes, I'm quite sure GGG can KO LHW's who have no defense.
Lol... Fonfara's resume is nothing, and that's at least the second time you've spelled his name wrong in this thread.

Do you believe GGG can KO heavyweights? :lol1: By the way Fonfora's resume>>>>> GGG :boxing:

Maybe I was a little off, but 8 of his last 10 wins are stoppages. Well Fonfora punches hard enough to KD and give hell to the current lineal champ of the 175 division (15 lbs heavier than GGG). I never said p4p punching, I was talking about power for power. Not hypothetically

In his last 10 bouts (including Chavez), Fonfara is 9-1 with 7KOs. His overall KO% is deceptive, but P4P, GGG hits harder and his offense is better all-around. If Fonfara wasn't Chavez's size, he might not have stopped him. The fact that GGG could potentially stop Chavez even-though he'll be at a 15lb disadvantage shows the difference in power and skill.
Exactly what I was thinking!!!
Easy win for Golovkin... Junior got exposed by Fonfara, and last time I heard Kovalev (considered one of the biggest punchers) claimed GGG hit harder than Him. I'll go with GGG by mid Ko

If we are talking 1 shot highlight reel KO for that ass, probably not.
But I could definitely see Jr. catching a pumpkin head in route to getting stopped.
