I think he would beat Martinez in 4, Chavez by 10, and would beat Ward. Ward had neither fought anybody as good as GGG, And GGG hasn't fought anybody as good as Ward. Its just GGG brings a stalker puncher to the table that Ward has never see. Ward doesn't have power to keep GGG off of him.
Floyd will avoid GGG like a plague as he is the biggest threat of his career. The size advantage alone would be key not to mention he can cut off the ring where Canelo can't, and the power is on a whole different level compared to what Floyd has seen.
Ah yes Joan Guzman great talent ,But has had weight issues that has REALLY affected his career. I remember for awhile he was mentioned for a fight with Pac Man.
Maybe a rematch with Solis. Mansour, Wilder will do also. Seriously how much of chance do they really have. David Haye is gay and wont fight Vitali. Tony Thompson is underrated and would give vitali a better fight then most guys. Tyson Fury and Robert Helenius are the best of the bunch cause they have size and power not to mention they seem willing to mix it up.
List some examples of young fighters with great promise that got exposed before they could meet expectation.
Jeff Lacy, Devon Alexander, Zab Judah, David Gaye, Juan Diaz, etc
Hes def the best American Hw as of right now. Hes got the size power and talent to be a force. Only time will tell how good he really is. Needs to be fihhting better comp no doubt.
despite being by far the smaller man in all hisd fights, when was Tyson knocked down during his unbeaten run as a young champion prior to being torn apart by Robin Givens, going to prison and thus giving up on boxing?
Tyson was KOd by Buster Douglas, Kevin MCbride, Danny Williams, NO shame to losing to Holyfield, and LL, you cant criticise Wlad chin and turn around and say Tyson had a good chin.
I thought Provo one no question about it. I had the same card as HBO. With that being said you have to give Algieri props. The dude can box well and more then proved tonight that he has heart.
Hopkins is already an all time great, But if he pulls this one off then he's a top 5 all time in my book. Win or lose I hope this is going to be his last fight. I'm still going with Kovalev, But hope he doesn't get tired or overly frustrated.
