How good is Deontay Wilder?

Raw, work in progress. He's a couple years away from title contention imo. So far his offensive game relies only on using hand traps.

Hes def the best American Hw as of right now. Hes got the size power and talent to be a force. Only time will tell how good he really is. Needs to be fihhting better comp no doubt. Thompson, Banks and Arreola all beat him right now imo. He has a good upcurve though obviously

Would like to see him fight James Toney. No honestly quit laughing. Wilder has stopped every opponent and Toney has never been stopped. Plus James poses hardly any threat and Deontay needs some rounds under his belt. Hell he hasnt even gone past 4 rounds yet. If im Wilder's manager im thinking his next few fights should be Toney, Rahman, Maskev if he still around, Holyfield, and then maybe seth mitchell. Dude is very raw and needs to slowly come up the ranks. Add those names on his resume and see if he can stop toney and holyfield. If he succeeds doing that then maybe move him up to a USS Cunningham claiber fighter until you can land a klitchko

He has the size and power to become a force. He is still very raw though. Right now I am doubting his mental capacity after choking his spouse/girlfriend on the weekend.

Not very good at this moment in time. Has many flaws and is largely untested. Has so far only faced C- level at best but has looked very good against them. His footwork is a little dodgy to me and he throws his right hand like a swing. He does have a decent left jab/straight by the looks of it. But hey, the man is willing to fight anyone so I give him respect for that.

the power is 100% legit. so is the talent. 6'7", 84 inches of reach, huge bones, and he's athletic. he can hardly box, though. i think he's going to lose in his next few fights. before the world title shot, if i had to guess.

From what I've seen, not very good. As said, obvious flaws. That's not to say he can't improve but I think he needs to test himself against better opposition.

Largely untested but has many glaring flaws, very suspect chin, his opposition has been nothing short of terrible and no he is not one of the best or a threat to Wlad.
