I think Canelo has never really proven himself. He beat Trout in a very close fight and that is the only big win on his whole resume. Trouts only big win was against a bad version of Cotto that was trained wrong. Everybody that Canelo has beat GGG would destroy and I think Canelo would get stopped too. Who do you guys think would win and why.
Canelo. To me he's the better overall product. I think GGG's defensive flaws, seeming distaste for getting hit, inexperience with adversity and deliberate - some might say - predictable - methods will be unveiled more and more in the near future. Canelo has shown me he has class and will be on the scene for a minute. GGG will flame out pretty quick IMHO.
The fight against Angulo was a joke. Canelo wouldn't be mocking and playing around in the ring when he feels GGG's power.
Alvarez is too basic, too predictable and too deliberate for someone like Golovkin. He's only capable of fighting at one particular range, and he'd get absolutely picked apart there.
Good observation. I generally agree although I would say Canelo is only capable of fighting when he is in range. If he has a target he's good. He's just not much for hunting it down. GGG would be right there. To me it's just the opposite; GGG would get picked apart.

mis "****ing "match...
chavez jr vs canelo , now youre talking...
GGG would take Canelo to school worst than Mayweather. Canelo had his head rocked back by Floyd, imagine what GGG would do. He'd be the one stalking Canelo instead of the other way around where Canelo is usually the much bigger man in his division.

He was not dropped. You Nelo haters need to let go of this already. Canelo was in trouble for about 20 seconds. This is as bad as Mayweather "almost" loosing to Mosley because he was rocked once in the fight. smh.:banghead:
Cotto was knocking him all around the ring for those "20 seconds" kid was on Queer Street
Chavez Jr. is now at 168 lb division and still can't make weight. Canelo is at 154 lbs. Maybe if they met in the middle at 160 then maybe but Chavez Jr. would probably be too drained to be effective.
well , that is true...
my point is canelo is not on the same league as GGG , chavez jr is ...

Its crazy how Canelo who was once considered a beast is now downplayed after Floyd made him look like a semi pro boxer lmao
Triple G will KO Canelo in my book, but Nelo is being downplayed where as before the Floyd fight he was made out to be a beast
lol who considered him a beast?.....really?...jeez
if anything , he has always been viewed a hypejob...nothing changed
GGG never tires, is relentless, has a granite chin, has iron for fists..... The ginger gases, takes breaks, got dropped by Coto's brother (a lightweight), and has the same power as cherrypicker who has average to below average power at WW.
hmmmmm.... Who will win this fight?

I agree somewhat
but I think Canelo is a good boxer, maybe not the beast he was made out to be, but he still has a chance to prove us wrong.
but Triple G wud be one step to far for him, although I would so love to see it lol
He's a solid boxer, but not what he was brought up/made up to be. He definitely has a chance to prove everyone wrong, there is no shame losing to Floyd, but IMO I don't think he will and I think Canelo will lose to some of the guys with pulses who are out there right now. That's just me, though
I agree that canelo is a decent boxer,, he has won some good fights, but he is not on the level of a manny or ggg,,,, true monsters that destroy guys,,,,,
Canelo has never been a dominant force with soft touches like hatton and rhodes, so how does he expect to beat a guy like ggg that has shredded his soft touches,,,,,,
I think canelo would have his hands full with rosada and stevens,,,
I see GGG winning this as Canelo wouldnt have the power to hurt him at this stage. I think Canelo would be there for him to hit all night as well and whilst he has shown decent durability at lmw, he has been wobbled in the past. I dont see him trying or being able to box and move enough for him to stay out of harms way.
Canelo is also pretty young and has plenty of time to rebuild, if he does the weight properly and develops well at MW he could make a very interesting fight and possibly beat GGG, but not now. We'll just have to see what pans out, I guess.
That's why Canelo is the definition of "hype job."
I have nothing against Canelo but he fought 40 overnight stock room associates at Lowes and got a free belt against Matthew Hatton...
Then fought Trout and instantly got a shot at Floyd to become "the one"

Canelo would get destroyed,,
canelo is the most undeserving guy for his hype,,
dude struggled to get past mathew hatton, rhodes, mosely, etc,,, the only time he has ever looked like a beast was the one-punch ko of an elderly baldomir and beating up jr welters like lopez,,, other than that,, canelo has never looked good or dominant,,,, Fernando vargas at 20 years old would have destroyed shane, hatton, trout, etc,,, canelo wins but is far from dominant,,,
GGG would do to him what froch did to bute
Yep. This is one case where the million dollar marketing and hype of Promotional companies really tricked some folks
