If you are too lazy/stupid to read the thread, or simply uninterested in the thread, then why post in it? GTFO.
I find it interesting how the Floyd fans automatically assume you are hating when in reality it's a fairly nuanced take on his career.
As for the judging, I don't know whether there is direct corruption but there is certainly a great deal of incentive for Vegas judges to award him favorable decisions. It benefits their careers and the city as a whole. Not to claim he has or hasn't been gifted decisions, because I don't consider myself informed enough to comment on that. But it is certainly a possibility given his position.
True. This kind of thread are far too rare in existence and the TS ends up in idiocy for disclosing the intellectual emptiness of the sport that cannot accommodate his views.
Dammit Samurai you beat me to it. Hectardo the Retardo has officially ruined all future Pac opponents before they even step inside the ring with false confidence
LMFAOOOOOOOO:D:D:D:D #Hectardo the Retardo
Sr clearly doesnt get it. This has way more to do than just that sole argument about girl boxers or Roger. Dudes acting like they dont have a dysfunctional history from jump. Jr clearly has never got over that.
And Floyd Jr at his age still does not know how to manage people or his emotions during certain situations. Which is sad on his part.

On the surface, what's not to like about Manny Pacquiao? He's perhaps the best fighter in the world. He's a humble, respectful man of faith and congressman doing what he can to better his native country of the Philippines. He sings, acts and has a smile that lights up the room.
But behind the smile and soft spoken mannerism, does a darkside exists?
Many would categorize Floyd Mayweather as the exact opposite of Pacquiao. Floyd also stakes claim to the title of best in the world. He's percieved as an undefeated, arrogant, disrespectful fighter that never passes up the chance to brag on his money.
But what if behind the ego and cocky attitude, an honest and generous heart of gold exists?
Mayweather is a spokesperson, rallying against the use of PEDs in not just boxing but all sports. His campaign to "clean up" boxing should be admired and applauded yet because of his nature, mayweather doesn't recieve the accolade and praise he deserves.
We all know Mayweather's real agenda is to put pressure on Pacquiao but even so, is it not an honorable act to try and right a wrongdoing?
I love Pacquiao. I feel sorry for him because he's now engulfed in all kind of PED accusations. It's a situation where he's forced to play by Floyd's rules or the dark cloud of PED scandal will forever hang over his head.
But good guy or not, what's right is right. Cheating is wrong and unsportsman-like. And although it has never been proven that Pacquiao used PEDs, and i hope it never does, we have to consider the possibility that Manny, arguably the nicest guy in boxing, is the bad guy and mayweather, dare i say, is the good.
The title is very promising, but after reading your entire post it does not actually support much less elaborate its point.
But he didn't really do this did he? I though Floyd looked great vs Mosley despite limited footwork.. he stood toe to toe with him. Pacquaio looked pretty tentative in there with Mosley.. even the last few rounds after the "KD" he didn't look all to great despite getting pissed
I agree to a certain extent. Pacquiao has failed to achieve the transcendent purpose of the fight, but no one can argue with the sheer fact that his performance isn't inferior to mayweather's.
lmao...once agan not boxing related. but mannys too small for that vag. hed fall in and never come back.

THat article is an "opinion" of a pactard...that image of "pacman" has been irrelevant for years...if anything, they should be glad FLoyd Mayweather promoted and brought life back to it...
want some chips...
:pat:....................
lol i never thought i'd say this but damn mosley margarito clottey and cotto are all bigger physically stronger than floyd, yea im being sarcastic cause floyd is better than all those guys i just named, but damn mosley is one big strong welterweight and after seeing the way pacquiao manhandled him i think floyd is not big enough damn how tides have turned lol, everyone knows ima big pacfan but im not gonna lie i thought mosley would be to strong for pac well i was wrong and i will never underestimate that little fukker again after i seen him knock down mosley like that, i thought martinez was to big for pac but i now change my mind on that, i think it's a fair fight
and yes i no size doesnt matter skills do, but i think pac will demolish mayweather
I'm pretty sure you was just stirring the pot. It appears to have worked!
No! There, I said it
for the life of me, I just can,t understand why mayweather is not around to start advocating stricter testing to be co-opted in the sport of boxing. His campaign of cleaning up the sport actually has a noble cause. He will go down in history as a courageous advocate of anti-doping not only in boxing but for the entire sports.
what campaign? what noble cause? noble cause is when you do something without ulterior motives.
drugtest is a mere front for avoiding a fight.
I know I know, that's why I said if only he's been serious in the advancement of a strict testing he would gain a high regard of reputation whether or not he has an underlying motive.
Yes Mad Vein, you damn flomo how many does Floyd have? Pacdbest just owned you...
F'ing idiots we have on these boards.
The boxing world only has the accolade on this titles to happily anticipate, so I am not surprised that these sport achievements would be questioned and defended as the foundation of fans for having something to be glad about. I'm much more concerned of the inequitable factors in those extremities of weight divisions pacquiao fought.
Yes, but you are neglecting a MAJOR point, and one which I think is the crux of the whole discussion. It has been mentioned on this subject only by one other than myself, which I saw after I had written in.
It is that Manny P, at 106 lbs (which he sustained only for his debut fight) was just a skinny underfed teenager, whose weight progress could be seen as he grew a little older. (and earned money for better food) Jones was at least an almost fully grown man at whatever age he had his first fight. I don't even have to bother checking in Boxrec.
THIS, is the vital point, not "lineal" champs, or who went up in weight more than the other.
Cogent argument! I agree, pacquiao started boxing in his teenage years when there's a rapid physical growth, it may justify his success in climbing weights in lower divisions. However I disagree of the notion- had he had money for better food he would have not weighed 106-112. Pinoys are naturally slim during adolescent stage, if pacquiao was malnourished/underfed how did he got the strength and stamina to compete in a combat sport? Also there were stories that in his childhood he was already working like a horse to support his family.
Just so you guys know:
- The fight between Pac and Mayweather has been signed for November 2012. - Each has agreed that they will fight tune-ups in May and June.
- The constant back n forth between the two camps is the beginning of the build up for the super fight in Nov.
- Pac is fighting Cotto again to rebuild the image he had after he fought Cotto the first time (the time pac-floyd would have been at it's best).
- Floyd will fight Canelo, an undefeated yet untested and possibly the safest yet most acceptable fight for him to take.
- Pac destroying Cotto faster than last time and Floyd dismantling Canelo will give the super fight back the lustre it once had 2 years ago.
This is how things will pan out this year, mark my words, no superfight in May but it will be signed for Nov.
Cotto's not the same because he's been through many tough fights
yes he was better at WW, but that's because he was younger/fresher
functionally, he's the same fighter, though with less power
and Pac beat bigger WW's with ease because he was faster than them
has nothing to do with him supposedly growing into a WW frame
Pac is physically just a JWW with speed that allows him to beat WW's
he won't have the same speed advantage over Bradley as other WW's
and he sure as hell isn't gonna be stronger than Tim at WW
don't see any reason why the weight matters in these fights
just fine, not good
it was nothing but a tuneup/tryout at the weight

Here's an interesting entry from Wikapedia, about the "IT GETS BETTER PROJECT".
"Its goal is to prevent suicide among LGBT youth by having gay adults convey the message that these teens' lives will improve."
"I think he was unable to cope with his own invinciblity, he got more or less scared to sit down again in front of the the board and risk losing. But only he who never plays never loses." - Anatoly Karpov, after Bobby Fischer ducked him
fischer didn't ducked karpov.
