Dude you should have cut the part where we see your legs in the vid. Those were big hairy ass white legs so of course you were easy to identify. And you shouldn't have given them your phone man, you're a boxer you're supposed to have a fighter's mentality you can't let anybody intimidate you. These dudes knew they couldn't touch you witout facing charges anyway.

Technically, yes it is illegal. But with the advanced technology and the ease to film essentially anything now and then uploading to the internet, it has muddied up the waters in the laws for photo release consent.
Personal bodyguards walk up to him and demand him to hand over the phone that is absolutely illegal whether they threatened him or not. There was obviously an intimidation factor. If you walk up to someone on the street and say "give me your wallet" it is illegal whether you have a weapon or not.
there is no muddling. its illegal, no matter how u look at it. u cant do it. every person in this country has a resonable expectation of privacy. and it is not at all unreasonable to expect that privacy to be maintained in a private location such as the boxing gym.
as far as the bodyguards, i dont really disagree with u. like i said if they demanded him give over the phone its a crime. but if he did it of his own volition then its on him. i asked him and he didnt really say one way or another. i just told him what the police would say if he told them. it depends on what happened.
screw the phone. Small punishment for pulling this brain fart move. The more ruckus you make the more your name will circulate on a shiiit list, and I'm assuming you don't want to be banned from every gym in town.

yes, he can. u cannot illegally tape someone in private without their permission and then post it on the internet without expecting to be sued. it was made clear in the gym that there was to be no taping of sparring sessions. if floyd wanted to sue him, he can. unless ur telling me u think u can do whatever u want whilst in someone elses place of business???

and if he gave up his phone without being compelled to do so, or without a threat of force then yea, there isnt much the law can do. in criminal law, u dont look at the plaintiff's state of mind u look at the defendants. so it doesnt matter what he thought, it matters what they were trying to do. if they didnt threaten him and had no intention of harming him and he voluntarily gave up his phone, then thats is on him.

but them taking ur phone is aslo wrong. but it depends on the circumstances. if they threatened u, then its a crime. if u voluntarily gave them ur phone, thats on u. but either way, go to the police if anything. dont rely on ppl from a frikkin boxing website. thats how ur in this mess as it is.
No it isnt....
thats not true. he posted the video online. its out there, its done its damage. but u were right about the phone part.
I don't think it's that big of a deal though. Sure, the video is out. It's not like they know "who" put it out there.
They will just crack down on camera phones and such.
Wait, let me get this straight.....
Floyd plans to counter a lefty with the straight right hand!!!!!!
OMG, who would have ever thought that!! Genius I tell you...GENIUS!!!!!
By law they would have to give you your phone back
now if you are too afraid to go and get it thats 1 thing, you can just contact your local police department and they will confiscate it for you
you can't get in any legal trouble, you removed the footage; yet they still have your phone
and what would team mayweather get out of suing you? that's a joke, he don't even want to go near a courtroom, go get your phone man
