Personally, I think it's YG. Gamboa's talent is amazing. His hand speed, foot speed, and power are top notch. I love watching YG fight. I wish he fought more.

Floyd isnt the most talented. He is just so scared of being hit and hurt he has gone overboard with the learning defense bit. If Floyd had GOd given talents like power and being able to hurt people, he wouldnt have evolved into the boxer he is.
Because he isnt knocking people out left right and centre and hurting people he has to learn all the other stuff, similar to BH and Pernel Witaker.
If they had Pac man or RJJ type attributes they wouldnt have been the type of boxers they are. If Pac didnt have power and speed to hurt his opponents like he does, he would perhaps have evolved into a more slick like type similar to Floyd or Pernel witaker types.
Basically Floyd has developed into the fighter he is due to his own limitations, dont confuse that with God given ability.
Yes you're right, Manny is the most talented fighter to ever grace the face of the earth because he makes all his opponents look like elephant men.:lol1:
No.
p4p means if they weighed the same and had similar proportions.
So, if Vitali was the size of a WW would he dominate? Would he beat Floyd, Pacquiao or whomever have you?
Same for Floyd and Pac. If they were 6'6" and 230 would they dominate Heavies? Would the beat the Vitali, Wlad, or womever have you?
That is p4p. I don't want to trash your choice of Vitali, i think he is a damn good Heavyweight. But you misunderstood what p4p is.
ps: Just because you win doesn't mean your heavily talented. Gatti won and he was very little talented. All heart, nothing else really.
Oh yeah, can you imagine how fast Vitali would be if he lost 100 lbs and shrunk, how much his coordination would sky rocket, and if he kept his power...there'd only be two hits dude, two hits, Vitali hits Pacquiao and AC/DC's Hell's Bells as Vit walks to the ring. And how can yoiu include height/dimensions into p4p, so how do you do the math for a 147 lbs 6'2 fighter like Paul Williams, is he technically bigger or smaller than Dirrell? I dont know man, to compare them p4p wise do we have to adjust Dirrell's height and make him taller and have him lose weight? Dude, have you ever seen the Professor in And 1 basketball? Is he more talented at basketball than Dwight Howard? Cause if he had Dwight Howard's dimensions, and could still do that stuff he'd be the best player in the world, and if Dwight Howard was his height and size he'd be trash....Kristoff Koperton is the world dwarf boxing champion, he has never been defeated 84-0 with 64 knock outs. He fight at 74 pounds, he clearly is the most talented fighter under your requirements dude. Can yoiu imagine how good he'd be if he had more than a 6 inch reach?
Im not too into fantasy or imagination in sports. Thats why I avoid p4p threads. When im listing the best tennis players in the world I dont include women players, my ATG Pitchers list doesnt have that Jenny girl from the USA team who every acts like is a 10, but really is an oversized 6. I dont have a pigment 4 pigment top 10 where I rank basketball players based on how dark they are vs. their talent. I just rank basketball players.
Do you think Vitali has been dominating for 14 years because of heart? Or could it be the fact that he uses his talents to dominate and destroy his opponents. If you can name a fighter who'd beat him, ok, otherwise put p4p in the thread title so people who arent fans of dwarf boxing, midget basketball, sheman tennis, amputee fencing etc...know to avoid the thread. If I wanted to use my imagination id read a book or draw, sports are great because you can have concrete answers to questions.
Pacs the most talented isnt he? Is everyone trying not to mention his name on purpose here?
Speed, power, athletiscm......you know the kind of things that make you the best fighter in the world.
pac doesn't win anything.
btw, I'm a pac fan.
as far as god given boxing talent - pbf and i hate him
donaire is sick
martinez is brutal
i truthfully don't watch the klitschicoshoesdudes - HWs don't interest me at this point
YG is definitely exciting
khan's chin still suspect and just makes me blind to his talent when he fights.
cause of his suspect chin, i think he ends up like juanma. he'll be doubted now with huge punchers. someone will eventually get them. with talent and power like the ones mentioned above.

Basically Floyd has developed into the fighter he is due to his own limitations, and nobody knows Floyds limitations better than himself. He has developed what he feels he needs to compensate for those limitations and vulnerabilities. Dont confuse that with God given ability.
hen say p4p, hence the special olympian vs. the real olympian. Foyd and Pac fight in a handicapped weight class. If it was an open weight class they wouldnt even be in the top 1,000 fighters. So say p4p. When you say who is the most talented fighter and dont clarify p4p, its a no brainer. Its like saying "who is the most talented basketball player" and choosing a WNBA "star" over Lebron or Kobe. Pac and Floyd are the equivalent of WNBA stars in this discussion. Either one could move up and fight Vitali, but they wont because they arent as talented at fighting. Simple as that. Its pretty much a no brainer. Vitali dominates the open weight class. If you like watching women's golf and the special olympics and lower weight classes more than open events, thats fine, but dont try to say the people who participate in handicapped sports could compete with the people who participate in open events.
Its like if they made a basketball league for people under 5'5, lowered the hoop to 8 feet tall, and claiming that one of those dudes was better than D-Wade...its a joke.
This is one of the funniest posts that I've ever seen.

noone beats floyd in the talent department.

wow. if you want to say vitali then so be it but to say Vitali because "lennox's punches would have tossed floyd and pac out of the ring" is just absurd.

Im the only one with a logical explanation. Vitali Klitschko took Lewis's uppercuts and wasnt knocked down, those would have knocked pacquiao or Floyd out of the ring, Vitali has the highest ko ratio of any hw champ, he'd kill any of the smaller guys in a fight, at almost 40 and after not turning fully to boxing until almost 26 he is champ at HW. None of the guys anyone has mentioned would come close to beating Vitali or even dare step in a ring with him. Best and most talented fighter in the world. If you want to go by weight classes...ie. handicaps, ok, then say so. Asking who's the most talented fighter in the world is and saying Manny Pacquaio is the equivalent of askeing who the best sprinter in the world is and picking 5 time Special Olympic 100m Hobbler Gold Medalist and World Record Holder Mornea Kevinson because you think his dominance in the special olympics means that if he had 2 legs he'd be the greatest runner. If you want to do p4p then say p4p, but if its whose the most talented fighter, its Vitali. Not even a question.

Mayweather Jr.
Pretty ridiculous actually. He just has everything. Everything you can not teach, he has all of it. His power may not be 1 hitter but he has it, at ww he simply doesn't take risks to show it off.
And he has one thing Roy Jones never had..... a brain. You can't teach a brain. To be able to think 100 moves ahead of your opponent. With the ability to adjust on the fly. Ridiculous.
Jorge Linares has a shyt load of talent as well. I just wonder when he is gonna live up to his full potential. 25 already held belts, it's time to step it up and show the world what you got. Nonito as well but I think he will end up like ricardo lopez. Ridiculous talent but can only take it so far... fukking around at bantam and flyweight your whole career, you can't do much with all that talent.
If we're talking about guys that still fight and the talent they were BORN with - Roy Jones jr.
Although I know we're talking about guys that still possess those talents, for me I go with Donaire. I think Mayweather is obviously up there, but part of his ability is down to the way he was brought up doing all the right things for a boxer. I love Gamboa, I always picked him over Juanma, but seeing how useless the legitimately brilliant Montiel unable to do anything to Donaire and then be almost decapitated by that single punch suggests to me that it's Donaire.
judging on pure athleticism & potential... i would go for ward, dawson, bute.
obviously, sergio & donaire too.
BUTE??
What? Bute doesn't have half the natural talent or skills that guys like Dirrell, Mayweather, Gamboa, or Donaire do.
