Mayweather will KO Cotto or vice versa with 60-70% going in Mayweather's favor. The Mayweather I saw against Ortiz was the best offensive Mayweather I have ever seen in turns of technique and ability to find an opening. If Mayweather can take Cotto's punches then he's going to get the knockout.
The Curtis Stevens we just saw would destroy any version of Sergio Martinez.
The Curtis Stevens we just saw would get destroyed by any version of Sergio Mora.
GGG hype is insane - "he'll knock out Ward" "he'll knock out Froch" "he''ll knockout Mayweather" is what I'm seeing a lot of in here and on Youtube except Youtubers throw around the n-word on every GGG fight video that has over 15 comments :lol1: .
I've heard the boxing media say that he is the greatest middleweight since Sugar Ray Robinson :banghead: .
The hype has surpassed that of Lucian Bute hype by 15-20 times so you should expect to have a reflection to that hype with logic.
GGG just handled a low tier ESPN fighter pretty well but the future has yet to be seen.
Lara is like Canelo in many respects except sharper but he throws less punches! and he doesn't go for the kill. Mayweather by a loud wide boring one-sided UD.
Pacquiao has never had a "ko" over anyone at 147.
What pop are you talking about?.
Pac has lost his pop. Soon as his speed goes he will be wide open. 2 more fights at the top, he will fade fully in 2015 but will fight on.
Pacquiao is still in his prime.
As soon as Pacquiao started facing defensive/moving targets instead of come forward head first opponents is when people started saying that he was not in his prime anymore.
Pacquiao is a ATG but he will almost always have trouble with pure boxers or someone that resorts to defensive boxing.
It's a toss up as to who would give Mayweather the most trouble.
He hasn't. What happened is Mosely moved on his feet and so did Bradley now Pac is shot.
We all saw glimpses of this - dealing with movement problem" in the Cotto fight.
Pac can't deal with boxers who move around the ring instead of standing right in front of him.
Rios was a comeback fight and Pac still through 790 punches after getting knocked out in his last fight.
Anderson Silva was the reason I got into MMA in about 2005. At first I thought he was black and I was like "nice now I have a fighter I can really get behind." Then I found out he was from Brazil. He was still my favorite fighter because of the skills but I never really gravitated to the sport. I watch it when its on but all the fighters I like are all over the hill. I don't see that young talent out there that can carry the sport for years to come.
I think you mean "U.S. American black" because Afro Brazilians are still black.
you forget the size of Williams when posting this comment.
If Margarito had Hattons foot speed then I would give him a great chance at beating Mayweather otherwise his hands and feet are just too slow.
If you compared Pacquiaos night of the fight weigh-ins to Mayweather and Judah weigh-ins there wouldn't be much of a difference.
It would be a "good" but not great achievement to beat Hoya.
Floyd wanted to be a villain, Oscar said so on 24/7.
Oscar SRL and a younger Mayweather Jr were on a plane together and Oscar said something like "you can be popular like us" and Floyd smirked and looked down on it or something.
