:lol1: I just watched the HBO broadcast and what the f*ck is wrong with Jim Lampley having an orgasm every time Ortiz missed a punch? At one point, no word of a life, Mayweather landed a clean right hand and Lampley went 'Left hand by Ortiz!' :lol1: I can't see how any round could have gone to Ortiz. A poster said all the judges had it 3-0 to Mayweather I don't know if that's true but I imagine and hope it is. All the backlash against Floyd is actually making me like him. He looked great, and those punches were brilliant. I've never been a Floyd fan, but I'm damn close. Lampley has to do that, because he has to sell the competitive fight for as long as possible. If the fight had gone another round or two, the announcing crew would have settled into "Mayweather is amazing" mode like they usually do. Except for Larry Merchant of course.

Who cares that Floyd won the first few rounds, this is a 12 round fight?. And with Floyd not having fought much his ring fitness is in question. Plus he was throwing more punches than usual so i think Floyd would have tired more than usual down the home stretch.

I told everyone 2 days ago. Look at Ortiz's punch output. He usually punches 60 per round. If He is in the low 40s to high 30s I guarantee you he gets TKO'd because he is fighting Floyd's fight.

floyd's reputation dictates compubox. mayweather landed 27 punches in the 4th? complete trash. they probably gave him credit for landing 20 punches in the beginning of the round when he threw that ineffective flury. if he's throwing he must be landing and if his opponent is throwing he must be missing. compubox should not be used by hbo to justify anything since its accuracy is totally false.

thats true, because Compubox is how you score fights, despite the fact its inaccurate and misleading. ...not that I think I had Ortiz winning any rounds. just dont ever bring up compubox. Those numbers reflect WHY Ortiz head butted Floyd. Single digits.

Mayweather was in total control of the fight at the point he was headbutt for the 3rd time and all the craziness started. He couldn't miss Ortiz already by the 4th, and we all know Floyd gets you more timed and more figured out with each passing round. Victor would have been stopped late. Listen to "Jim, I gotta tell ya!" after the 3rd round when he is explaining his score. "Floyd is just walking him down and beating the hell out of him. Like you see right there."

The judges had it 3-0, 3-0, and 2-1 for Mayweather. Do you have proof of those scores ? I had a bet with a friend that Mayweather wouldn't lose a round to Ortiz for as long as it lasted. 2 judges had to score a round for Ortiz for him to win. :)

I had Mayweather winning every round pretty clearly. What was funny was Ortiz's most competitive round with Floyd was the 4th round which makes me wonder why he would resort to those tactics at that point.
