LarryXXX must be mad cause they took his welfare money to pay off Schaefer's settlement. Maybe if he rides Floyd's duckie hard enough he will give him some EBT.:blow:
Another premodonna in the making. Leo would get knocked out by Rigondeaux. Rigondeaux doesn't run! What the heck are you talking about? Rigondeaux would end Leo's paydays.
Why did team Mayweather down play the biggest fight in history by demanding it take place at the MGM and turn down the UAE? Didn't Floyd say he was motivated by numbers?
Kiss that "O" goodbye Floyd!
The one good thing I can say about ROCNATION is that Jay Z is keeping it real. All his added is some extra entertainment and os not trying to reinvent the sport. You don't play boxing!
I am for one glad Cotto dint fall for that **** of using him to take Mayweather out of May 2nd. He showed them who the boss is.
What a dumb ass you are. Who do you think reserved the MGM, GBP. Why do you think Floyd hates Oscar so much. Cause every time Floyd fights Oscar gets paid!
UFC and MMA cant create stars, boxing is best known for doing so.
LMAO, all the fighters are happy. You are seriously defending a sanctioning body? They are as corrupt as it gets in boxing. Basically hoes pulling tricks in every way to get a buck.
Not at all. If you read and understood me correctly you would can see that all I said was that the sanctioning bodies will have to unify which is something everyone has wanted in all history, one recognized world champion, which is better than having a wannabe champion which only fights in house fighters. If you followed my comments you would see that I'm all for fighters getting paid. After all they risk their lives every time they get in the ring.
Their rosters are wearing thin and will continue to do so.
Rocnation will be irrelevant in a year or two.
I don't think so because unlike Haymon, ROCNATION is showing interest in fighters of other countries which will keep genuine boxing alive. Plus ROCNATION is also paying their fighters top dollar to face legit fighters, not fixed fights but I guess your just another casual who is happy watching a parody of boxing and not the real thing.
Like I said before. Boxing is now the new WWE. Next we will be able to buy Adrian Broner and Danny Garcia dolls and pack backs full of illuminati symbols and ****t like that.
I usually oppose "monopolies" (for various reasons depending on the industry), but not in this case and sports in general (until the negatives outweigh the positives).
I've heard a part of the terms to one of Haymon's contracts and they are very generous to the fighter (especially considering the way they've been abused in the past). At the moment, there have not been the amount of fighters who have signed with Haymon, who have come forward to declare him as a shady character.
His reputation has suffered a bit due to the lack of competitiveness of his shows (in addition to his Mayweather/black fighter/betting favorite association), so that is a strike against him, but if he's going to be putting on shows like the ones that have recently been announced, then he will slowly turn the tide for the most part because there is no way of satisfying every individual).
If he treats his fighters well and forms great matchups and shows, with most of the top fighters eventually signing with him, the people against it will either have to begrudgingly change their mind or have empty arguments for their opinion. I'd definitely like to see this fragmented sport go through a makeover.
I can see how much you know of Haymon's contracts- $het! Dude has contract extensions which tied up fighters just like a promoter with no commitment to how many fights a fighter is going to get a year or minimum purses.
Among other shady verbiage which he can manipulate when it come time to make serious money which he can control everything. But fools will learn how this game is played the hard way.
Haymon will be mock by all sports experts. It's not like boxer are going to come out drop kicking fools. We already got that it's called MMA.
Al made this into a joke and the WBA, WBC and others now see the picture and no other choice but to unify.
His preventing the fight to happen out of hatred for HBO giving him and Floyd the boot but for all the money being offered he would sell and deliver Floyd on a silver plater and make a rematch deal for some mo money just like a true hustler.
Floyd has been checkmate and will rather make a move somewhere else. His on going negotiations are smoke in the air so he call say he tried to make the fight happen and blame it on the other side.
He was scared of breaking his hand. I really think he should retire and maybe be a trainer instead. He is not going to go far with a hand that brittle.
Your crazy! Russell a trainer! Boxing doesn't need anymore pot shots! Why do you think boxing is going down the drain? Russell looked like he does when he hits the mitts. Aw, ah, oh! LOL.
Managers, advisors and promoters are all after one thing- Easy MONEY! Earn affordable the blood, tears, hard work and sacrifice, boxers and their families and coaches hard work! Plain and simple! No body wants a fighter is they can't get something out of you!
Question is, who's behind this mysterious Al Haymon? What entity is he hiding? And what's their objective? (Besides making money). Becoming the Dana White of boxing or is he a member of the illuminati?
Maidana should have held back. Kept his gloves because he was already going to make over 4 mill and KNOCKING the ? out of Floyd is priceless. Besides Floyd had a rematch clause so Maidana would got the rematch but I guess his advisors didn't tell him this. Oh well! So much for making history Maidana!
IMO someone was whispering in his ear how much more money and exposure he could get if he worked with haymo. That's probably why we've seen him visiting the Mayweather gym. This cause him to get greedy and want what Floyd has.
Ward will down in history as one of the best if not the best middle weight lineal champion.
He needs to stay humble. There's no need to chase the dragon.
