I just want to throw that out there...
Would the top execs from both networks be meeting like this without assurances from both fighter's camps that they are on board?
Logically, the networks agreeing should be last domino to fall right?
I think that Floyd's last demand is that SHO are the ones producing the show even if its broadcast by both. I think thats what he meant when he said its gotta be on Showtime PPV. Lewis vs Tyson was produced by HBO and broadcast by both, for example.
I dont know how HBO feel about that but considering Les Mooves is the one doing all the work, its safe to say SHO earned it. And Im sure Team Manny is cool with it.
Even though, i do prefer HBO's production team personally.

why don't they just do the deal they did with Showtime and HBO?
duuuuuuude...he's GOTTA be part of this mega circus..it just HAS to happen
side note: even the FACE OFF, i can't wait for...
Every aspect of this is going to be ridiculous. I kind of hope that Mayweather doesn't show much respect to Manny during a press conference or two. I'm interested to see how Manny reacts. I'd like to see a little fire out of Manny.
I thought Manny already signed the contract??
Manny is on his way to New York at this very moment. In an unexpected trip Pacquiao and a selective group of his family and entourage are heading to NY, but are expected to comeback to Los Angeles on Saturday. A trip to the UK will be next after his return following Miami for the Miss Universe Pagent. Pacquiao was seen along side Bob Arum this morning who also said yesterday that he was going to meet with Pacquiao today to review the contract and possible signing it today. What's really going on? Only they know. One thing for sure, that this trip to New York is something that wasn't reported before. Sam Watson who is in Floyd's most inner circle is also in New York and Al Haymon is possibly there too since yesterday they had a big announcement at the Rockefeller Center to promote a fight deal with the network NBC. Floyd: i didnt sign the contract because Larry Merchant was gonna be doing interviews...
I might not blame him for that one. That old guy is strange. :lol1:
Sheesh they really have to run EVERYTHING by Floyd? He has way too much power.
I think it's more "Sign Off" on. Floyd does say everything has to be run by him. I would presume that is the case here.
I agree. This is most likely the case.
I think Floyd will be more worried about the possibility of getting screwed by three incompetent/corrupt judges than anything else. Lampley, Merchant, and Buboy should be the three judges. Lol
He can't be unsatisifed with a proposal if they have not presented a proposal to him because they are still negotiating it. Your comment, especially the last sentence, is retarded!
Boo fucking hoo, big guy. How in the hell do we know what's been presented to him? We know what gets posted on here.
I've been one of the biggest Floyd supporters on this site in regards to this fight being made. If I want to suggest he might be a little shitty during negotiations, I'll do it. If you don't like it, you can suck my dick.
Retard.
Wonder why the fk he even has a say in what the networks agree to? They must be scared he'll run away from the fight ...
Nah. The clowns on here say Moonves is forcing him so he doesn't have a say at all. Or was that last week?

I was asking myself the same thing.
Something about "become satisfied" struck me as odd. Like he was complaining about it. To become satisfied, seems like you'd first have to be unsatisfied. Hopefully he's not being a hoe about it.

why the hell does Floyd have to care what Showtime and HBO come up with?
Keep
Calm
It
Will
Happen
It's not an issue until it becomes one. I wouldn't worry much about it. The TV networks battle was the last possible roadblock and now it's no longer an issue. Floyd will sign the contract and by Saturday, i think he'll officially make the announcement .
Bob Arum claimed before the Pacquaio/Algieri fight that both HBO and Showtime had already made an agreement on the broadcast of the fight if it were ever made.
As usual, Arum was lying! So, the question now is, when Arum says that all terms have been agreed upon by both sides, exactly which part of that statement was a lie?

Just as long as Paulie Malignaggi isnt involved in the broadcast in any shape or form, i guess we'll have to live with an inferior broadcoast.
On the Lennox Lewis/Mike Tyson fight, they had Jim Lampley (HBO) broacasting the fight with Bobby Cycz (Showtime). They will like do a similar combination with this fight -- perhaps Lampley and Al Bernstein.
Anyone but, Jim Lampley. He'll probably have an orgasim for every punch that Manny throws whether it lands or not. It will be too unbearable to listen to him calling the fight from his own biased perspective. Just think of how he and Merchant called Mayweather-De La Hoya and multiply that extreme bias by a thousand for Mayweather-Pacquiao. He might even proposed to Manny after the fight if Manny wins. Lol
I think the Showtime crew will call like it is and will not show favoritism toward either fighter. Paulie has a personal agenda against Manny, he might be the only one who might call the fight for Floyd.
