Why do people discredit fighters for not being blessed with natural talent such as amazing speed and power?
If anything, I credit a fighter more for making up for that in other areas like will, determination, versatility.

Can't find anything on Frochs fight night weight. But I know he stays well conditioned all year round. It wouldn't surprise me if he only put on a few extra pounds on fight night weighing no more than 178 similar to Floyd.

Not likely. Sparring someone even a few inches taller is difficult.
I think its a testament to how good Tyson actually was. He mitigated his lack of hight with unbelievable head movement, speed and technique to get on the inside of his taller opponents jab.

If your talking boxing skill i.e. the fundementals of the sweet science then I would go with Cotto.
Froch excels in other areas mainly stamina, heart, chin, tenacity and grit.

Technique and committing to the punch are what cause power.
I hate it when ppl say its natural. How can two fighters that weight the same have completely different punching power?
Lets take GGG for example... Look how rotates his foot, hips, shoulders into his punches. On top of that he plants his feet and fully commits to the punch, he's actually trying to KYTFO!
Now lets take Mayweather. He relies on defence, therefore he cant fully commit and sit down on his punches as he likes to stay out of range of his opponents.
If Mayweather was to commit to and rotate fully like GGG he would have more power although he would take more fire coming back in his direction.
Punch power comes from technique and commitment to the punch.

How is being flown out to Vegas going to help his bank balance?
