canelos legacy is officially ruined forever. we're debating who beat his azz the worst.
but my vote goes to floyd. he laid the blueprint for all the azz whoopings that came in the future. also, people really thought floyd was ducking canelo. i was there for all the pre fight talk. they said he was scared. i heard it all
so floyd gets the award for most impressive canelo azz whipping
Lol, now it is meaningless, but you and 90% people here predicted Canelo to beat Bivol, so stop with your silly excuses.
I did not actually. I don't even think I made a prediction for that fight because I didn't care too much about it. Was never a huge fan of Bivol to care. Nor have I been a huge fan of Canelo since steakgate.
Floyd fought the hungry and arrogant version of Canelo who wanted to be top dog. Canelo showed him no respect before or during the fight. Crawford fought the more experienced and civilized version of Canelo. Crawford got the better win based on the history behind it, but Floyd’s performance was more virtuoso.Floyd went up a weight to 11-1 Pre-Prime Saul who volunteered for 152 lol
Top Soviet Bivol 10-2'd P4P King Prime Saul who went up a weight
TBud jumped up two weights to 9-3 Past Prime Saul
I was one of very few people there that predicted Bivol to beat Saul..
Some fools even expected Canelo to fight and beat Usyk.
I think Bivol`s win is stil underrated. Canelo looked like unbeatable force than, he even koncked out washed up Kovalev at 175.
Bivol`s win made other guys believe Canelo was actually beatable.
Before that there was a myth that only Floyd could have beaten him.
Bivol was Canelo reaching his weight class limits and really didn't belong there. I would even scratch that loss off his record because it was meaningless.

Solid post.
The problem is so many claimed Canelo was past it before the fight as a way to preemptively take away should Crawford win.
That is so weak.
I think Tbud had the better win of the other two. Mayweather got him where he didn't look as dominant as he has in RECENT years. I know some people think he was too young or green despite having over 40 wins and against some named opponents (including one Mayweather fought), though Canelo looked just young and not sure of himself in there yet. Then Bivol, I'd easily use the weight class as a valid excuse for him. Bivol was Canelo reaching his weight class limits and really didn't belong there. I would even scratch that loss off his record because it was meaningless.
Sure, Tbud had a fight on his hands where Fraud and Bivol didn't as much, but that's because you were seeing Canelo at his best weight probably and all the experience and knowledge of his fights come together. He looked confident in their despite losing the majority of the rounds and eventually showing some frustration. Though for the most part, he kept trying and you felt he could have been 1 punch away from landing to drop Tbud at anytime.
Tbud coming up 2-3 divisions to face Canelo without testing the water there and not requiring any hydration clause and matching punch for punch is more impressive in my eyes.
Canelo didn’t look young against Floyd. He just got outclassed by a much better boxer, a man smaller than him and significantly older.

oh you didn’t know this? I thought u’re so obsessed with walk around weights lol. Duran balloons during vacations with all his parties and whatnot which Leonard took advantage off when he asked for the immediate rematch… i guess duran’s dare for greatness at 160lbs shouldn’t be praised since that’s just his walking weight looool (all according to your logic)
not upset at all. Just proving your points ridiculous
If we're talking Ricky Hatton-esque "ballooning" that's entirely different. That's just unhealthy living.
Duran was 160 fighting at lightweight? Ok.
I told you already that Crawford's win was impressive. I don't know what you don't get?
You're so upset about the fighting weight comment, which is accurate. Out of Bomac's own mouth, since you're so up to date.

Floyd was 150
Canelo was 165
Theres no way that Canelo weighed 15 pounds more than Crawford. Crawford has openly bragged how he gets into the 180s
- One was a catchweight at 152lbs eventhough floyd has been a champ at 154lbs twice
- Crawford can go to 180 on his vacation days, he’s still a 147lber champ, and he still jumped 2 weight classes to pull this off.. can you imagine floyd jumping to 168 for ward? lol
- natural weight ain’t the basis of what’s your best weight in boxing at all lol… plenty of fighters ballooned up during layoffs doesn’t mean they should fight at heavyweight wtf
- i’d put my money canelo today KO’s that 23 year old version of him lol
Yeah Tarver, and Max Kellerman also called it "almost 3 weight classes" since he just had a pitstop at 154lbs... but I guess we're all ****** and you not getting the word "almost" #FacePalm
I should have realize you're just arguing to argue.. but don't seem to see various points presented. Anyway good day... first it was Floyd's 152lb win over nelo coz he was outweighed... now Duran moving up to beat Leonard... whom according to your standards should be diminished as well since Duran's natural weight is 160lbs lol. which really is it. and nope he didn't jump straight to welterweight he already acclimated there..
those examples were made too make a point that they were only a handful successful ones, but still you don't get the point.. I didn't mean to say there lesser or greater in any way.
go on and move the goalpost somewhere.

I think Bivol and arguably Floyd beat better versions of Canelo more comfortably. Bud definitely gets points for moving up two weight classes but the size difference wasn't that significant in the end and Crawford fought a well past prime version of Alvarez. Still a great win.
Bivol definitely did. Fmj had weight restriction vs a green Ginger
Floyd was 150
Canelo was 165
Theres no way that Canelo weighed 15 pounds more than Crawford. Crawford has openly bragged how he gets into the 180sSaul was 180 on the night of VS Bivol
max 185 when he fought TBud
TBud shared a photo of a scale weighing him 18X
Floyd was already a champ at 154lbs way back in 2007 and still asked for a catchweight lool so no... at full blast 154lbs he would have been given huge credit instead he still chose to put an asterisk to that win... though I believe he'd toyed nelo at any weight during that time. that was his own doing..
a lot of fighters get outweighed on fight night, that's common occurence.
while bud jumped almost 3 weight classes to fight Nelo, the risk of getting KOed was there... while Floyd took little risk.. it's like asking him to fight ward at that point.. Would Floyd fight ward? when he was at 147lbs? hell na
Floyd was 150
Canelo was 165

Floyd's was better for me and Bivol and Bud about the same.
Floyd literally whitewashed him and toyed with him for 12 rounds
Bud did something pretty impressive moving up to that weight and not being affected by anything Canelo landed and earned Nelos respect when he landed himself so he deserves the credit
But Floyd's was a master class of boxing for the puristsI need to rewatch Saul-TBud later
Floyd 11-1'd Saul and gave away the 12th because he swept every other round and dgaf
TBud won about 9 rounds maybe it was 10 or 8
I like how it's "3 weight classes" now.
And it was the majority.
I called it a great win, but that doesn't seem to be good enough you.
Duran moving up to beat Leonard and Leonard moving up after a years long layoff to beat Hagler are better wins to me. (Quality of opponent)
It doesn't diminish Crawford's win. It is what it is.

For me Bud's win is more impressive
A jump in 2 weights classes, no catch weight, no rehydration clause
Mayweather fought a catchweight 152/rehydration clause and Bivol was the bigger man.
Canelo's at the tail end of his career but he's still close to prime and a certified ATG at this point - Bud's also no spring chicken.
Mayweather thought a young hungry version of Canelo but not prime, Bivol thought a closer to prime version imo.
Bud outboxed Canelo, ate Canelo's shots and at time's hurt him
Mayweather outboxed Canelo, Bivol overpowered Canelo - Bud did both
He won the undisputed/lineal crown from Canelo, not just a titles
(Mayweather won the WBA/WBC, Bivol WBA)
Prime Saul was from golovkin2 to jermell with Billy Joe being Saul's absolute peak
Top Soviet Bivol definitely caught a Prime Saul
I thought Floyd's Green Saul looked better than the Past Prime Saul last night fighting TBud
