He's poor imo, as soon as he goes up against someone he cant control with the fear of his speed then he will get ktfo.
Has no chance against Vitali although of course I want him to go all the way.
Goarrn Haye lad!
Enzo has a good heart and his chin isnt that bad.
I think he showed to much respect to Haye in his last fight although Haye had to really catch him half a dozen times before he got ko'd.
Enzo will win by tko.
Calzaghe in 2001
Prime Jones against Calzaghe would of been one of the greatest fights of all time.
Although it's difficult to judge when Calzaghe's 'prime' was as he has improved with age but at the same time is he quicker than when he was like say 23?
I think any serious boxing fan respects what both fighters have done throughout their careers.
For a few years Jones was the greatest boxer in the world and no one could touch him, you cant say Calzaghe has ever had the same reputation as an awesome Jones commanded but Joe's record speaks for itself.
Some Americans are just desperate to rubbish anyone who is British//European/White etc etc
The Americans who have a brain thankfully don't fall in to that though and they at least respect some fighters for what they have done although they may not be a great fan.
I said on here earlier on in the week that Enzo is in the shape of his life. Haye was a big wake up call for him, such a gutter he's had this bad luck.
No one has mentioned Wales, we only have a population of 2.9 million yet we've produced some very good domestic and world boxers.
Welsh World Champions

Im not saying were p4p the best country but we surely deserve a mention.
And a question for you:
What has Roy Jones done in the past 5 years that would even warrant him a title shot? Let alone a fight with Calzaghe?
That wasnt the question, Joe had the opportunity to fight a legend all be it a shot one (although i do seem to remember the usa fans saying Bhop was shot after Calzaghe beat him)
Now seriously, this is not aimed at trying to take a dig at USA fans but what would it take to earn American respect? Is there anything Calzaghe can do?
Your all missing the ****ing point, Calzaghe could of wanted a fight against the prime boxers of 2000 all he liked the simple fact is he couldnt.
So how you can say he's not great because he didnt fight prime fighters is a non starter, you the USA didnt give him the opportunity.
I think you've all answered the question anway by your desperate digs at Calzaghe, there is nothing he can do to earn your respect.
Why waste time fighting over rared soft american hopefuls when he can retire and enjoy life?
Agreed, that first round knock down was a result of a half throat/chin hit.
I'd like to see anyone take a shot to the throat and not go down for a few seconds.
I cant see why people will not credit Calzaghe as being the p4p.
Im sure if he was american then he would be hailed by the same people that put him down as the best p4p.
Dont people understand?
B Hop is a GREAT boxer but Calzaghe made him look old, B Hop didnt go shit because a better boxer beat him.
Just like Pavlik wont go shit, he'll remain average.
Hopkins was superb tonight against Pav but make no mistakes, if it was Calzaghe in the ring tonight he would of looked just as old as he did the last time they fought because Calzaghe is a far far better boxer.
